Write your name or your initials or a fun made-up name- anything to signify your row :-)What's one or more things you discovered or were reminded of in this workshop? What more do you need to learn or what resources do you need to find in order to move towards your dream?

If you would like someone on this list who has ideas for you to contact you, you could also include your email :-)
How might you use visual arts more in your life or work?Any suggestions for the facilitator or organizers when doing this workshop in the future?

JoyThat drawing and color help open imagaination. To not start with an apologyI need to keep fiddling with the this idea. I need a blank paged notebook. :)I have been stuck for a long time andusing visualization may help me turn the corner
4
DreamingSimple illustrations can have a big impactI'd love to see a wide range of inclusive icons - e.g. people sitting instead of always standing. how can we show diversity through these icons?

I'm reminded how powerful (and easy) it is to get meaning across, to express oneself through visualsI'm reminded how powerful (and simple) it is to create meaning and share ideas through visuals.

This workshop helped me realize my personal/professional goals. It also allowed me to visualize my goal, the steps I need to take and how I can get there. The visual representation makes it fun and easier to digest.Continue to feed my mind through books, attend trainings to develop my facilitation/leadership skills and practice, practice, practice!Definitely going to incorporate visual arts activities during my workshops for folks to reflect on their ideasNone. They handled the technical difficulties great! Would love to learn more about visual facilitation and how to do this best with young people.

MyahThe power of visuals to trigger our creative imagination & childlike nature withinNAI already use lots of visual tools for visualisation and have been using vision boards etc. This time I will try the techinque I learnt in this workshop. It was fun!!He was superbly wonderful. Thanks for organising

JulesTo center my vision for the work that my organization does and be energized to make it known to others. The excitement of vizualizing my goals was met with the frustration of not always being heard or willing to force space to say them outloud. How do we help the quieter kids to make space for ourselves in a world that priortitizes extroversion? I think art is a good medium and I am excited to expand my toolbox. Using this as a service-learning facilitation tool for my teen leaders to think about ways to solve problems that we see in everyday life. This was great, thank you!
10
SheThat my vision is doable if looking at it in bite sizes as we did in the workshop. It re-inspired the visionI need to find the community that have the same vision of a self-sustaining, off the grid communityI use visual arts for most things I doNone really. I love the way you work together to make it happen...especially when someone forgets something, or when there are technical glitches.
11
PyzThe use of visuals/being creative to set goals and expectationsI think I need to set a realistic time frame for myself... start to also do the small daily tasks/steps that move me to be in a better place to undertake the long term goal (ie. don't get bogged down with distractions)Visuall draw "to do" items via containers, with apendages/connecters that go into that! A creative activity to break up the mundane.

k7The process of unblocking "i cant draw” beliefs with squiggling and doodling ice-breaker appeares to be helpful to be with client at his/her space and to form therapeutic alliances.
The approach stimulates client’s positive strengths and invokes the inner-child to explore own potentials.
Very self-effacing and impressive way to inspire youths/clients to open up, share their thoughts and achieve goals.
After last session experience, I realised I could have a dream/goal to try start a hotline/counselling for ex-offenders in Singapore. Offenders, mostly drug offenders, culture after serving time and in the community seem to block them from seeking help. I reflected and was able to review the journey and time line to break cultural barriers. during online sessions, You were great, despite the tech faults for classroom, you got the sessions goinig and objectives met.

Magic carpetSimple and sincerely method, wich opens our imadination. To do more practise exersizes and try not to forget learned things.Plan your day/week/month shedule.

Go for it - see where it takes you!The joy of drawing, keep it simple, let things flow rather than aim for perfection, representation is sufficient to convey a message.Dedicate time to my passions, reconsider my use of time and give time to my dream so I bring it into being. In my journal, in communications with others, in planning for work (+ mindmaps), when recording informal minutes/discussions.I liked the pace and you handled the tech breakdown effortlessly, great atmosphere created by all facilitators - engaging and encouraging. Thank you so much :)

Onwards to a better selfDrawing can be simple! I always see myself as someone who is not as creative or unable to draw but this session has show me otherwise!Keep doing it! Taking a step at a time :)Drawing will be an alternative when words can't really express! I really love the process of it and will set more goals using visual artsIt was so engaging! Thank you for being able to flow despite the technical difficulties! Really appreciate the work!

Charlotte UK musicfinders@gmail.comDrawing was a simple, non threatening way to 'delve deeper'I'm looking forward to getting the resources list and learning more
17
I'll try to doodle more in my everyday life.I'd like to incorporate live drawing with puppetry/ music It worked well and helped me see how technical difficulties can be overcome/circumnavigated

AnnaFirstly, at there are so many talented people in the world, with lots of dreams and ambitions. At first I was intimidated by it, but then I decided to join them and share in the experience and realise I am just as good as everyone else.
I use a lot of drawings and symbols in my workshops with young people, but never really thought about it too much, it was great to have some structure and theory around this approach and conceptualise how I use drawing more.
Learn to take good photos!Use the different metaphors with myself and young people I work with, including project planning and co-production on projectsThought it was really well run, and tech difficulties were managed well - we're all learning from the best!

Sharon I enjoyed the simplicity of the warm up activity and the idea of having icons to choose from for thoe who are intiminated by drawingI think the idea of having it in a journal form would be interesting to note progress toward your goal.

Ruru1. I realized that even though I'm bad at drawing, I could actually express my emotions through simple figures which otherwise I find difficult to word. 2. I was reminded of the necessity to sometimes take a step back and take an eagle's view of our own lives.Perseverance!1. In life - I'll use it to express my difficult to word emotions for people to understand me better. 2. At work - I plan to include some visual arts when doing activities with my students. It was all good. Best part for me was - "We see you doing it!". Great energy and beautifully lifted people's moods and spirits.

RuthWhat a joyful experience it is to be immersed in the creative process! We definitely need some better pens! Have already bought one of the recommended books from the list so that I can explore this furtherI really enjoyed working from the goal, backwards. It hadn't occured to me to work this way and I found it really liberatingI thought that it was a great session, very positive and paced just right, hugely inspiring! Thanks for perservering with the technology! It was wonderful to attend with so many other Changemakers from around the World.

mxaThis workshop, like some others mentioned during the session, really helped me let loose and really dig into being creative and using one's imagination. Like a few others, I also started off with my camera off, but very soon joined in and stayed in.I would definitely like to keep in mind the easy games to play with even a handful of people for the next time that I can try them out!Maybe just being mindful of the music's volume when trying to talk over it. I would also like an extra 1-2 minutes in the break out rooms, if possible :)Thank you Devon and Alan and the tech support crew! I think this workshop was really well done! I loved that you spotlighted people and we got a glimpse into how big our group really was. Thank you for sharing these skills with us.

Sharon Moonour imaginations bring freedom and joyI will use the first game, act out something you like to do, everyone copies in online meetingsThank you so much, I would recommend a little less time in the "yes let's" before you transfer to the next person, especially because it takes time for the next person to connect (maybe start planning for the next leader as soon as the previous leader starts). I heard you encouraging us to keep going on with the activity until the next person starts, maybe emphasizing that even more when you give the directions and reminding people each time to keep doing the previous activity until we start following the next leader. All the activities were great. Thank you! Will you share the slides with us? Having the directions and prompts will be very helpful. I really appreciate you and your energy and generosity. Good to see you again!

Angela GabrielIt keeps me grounded and happy, even through grief.definitely will use a lot of these ideas in my groups. I love the butterfly hug and the simple breath together. I also like choosing people to lead & then ending with a pose. Fun!
