Every year local Etsy teams organise their Etsy Made Local events. Unfortunately for 2020 this isn’t possible so we’ve decided to bring this handmade haven to you instead. You can get your handmade Christmas shopping done from the comfort of your own home. So grab a cuppa and some snacks and we’ll welcome you into The Etsy Market online. We’ll help you find some truly great gifts. First you’ll meet the makers, explore their unique items and most importantly - get into the Christmas spirit.

Our members are committed to bringing you unique and alternative handmade gifts, supplies and vintage. With so many crafts represented by the team you can deďŹ nitely ďŹ nd a special gift for everyone.


Shop Why did you start your Etsy shop? I first made candles for our wedding favours, they seemed to be a success! I then started to make them for friends and family and it grew from there. I had always bought of Etsy so I knew I wanted that to be the first place I sold them.

Where do you make your items? At home in my kitchen.

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? The community, there are so many brilliant makers and people are always supportive and All of our candles are available in tea light sizes.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? That's a hard one, I love combining clay with fabric to make my dolls.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I work with different kinds of materials, like jewellery, notebook, etc, but everything needs the Liberty Art Fabric which is my all time favourite.

Why did you start your Etsy shop? When I saw all the amazing Liberty fabric in their London store three years ago, I immediately decided that I have to make something with them.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I really love working with organic jersey Fabric. How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop? It combines the middle names of my biggest inuences... my son & daughter đ&#x;’™ â?¤ What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? The feeling of community and being surrounded and supported by fellow makers. Beautifully handmade in organic fabrics, every romper is made to order. From newborn to 4 years of age.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? My illustration work is predominantly collage-based. Sometimes I like to cut things out and stick them down by hand - I produce many of my own coloured papers and patterns and then cut out each individual element or piece of the design. Sometimes I like to do all of this inside my apple mac instead, but I love to come back to doing things by hand. There's a special quality in painstakingly cutting out intricate designs from pieces of paper.

Where do you make your items? I produce all of my work, analogue and digital, in my home studio.

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? Through Etsy, I've been able to reach a much wider market and share my work globally - it's been great to get to send my artwork to people in Europe and America. Flowers - square greetings cards.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I love to work with vector graphics as they can be used on many future products.

Why did you start your Etsy shop? I started this shop after I received several requests to make geeky products from other Etsy team members. They wanted gifts for their relatives that were also gamers so they asked me.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I've always worked with lots of mediums. Recently I've enjoyed felting and hand embroidering my coastal bird seascapes.

Where do you make your items? On the dining room table where I have a beautiful view of the garden. Embroidered avocet brooch

Shop Where do you make your items? I enjoy working from home and the flexibility it gives me, living in the city centre has always been a big source of inspiration for my work. Why did you start your Etsy shop? For the last 9 years I've worked as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer for commercial clients, but earlier in my career I had produced my own paintings and art prints, as well as exhibiting with galleries. I wanted to get back into working on my own products and Etsy seemed the right way to start up my side business.

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? I enjoy being an Etsy Seller because it connects me to customers who I wouldn't find ordinarily, it's been really great working with people on custom pieces and hearing how happy they are with the end product.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I am a digital artist through and through. I use an iPad Pro, Apple pencil and Procreate. It has been a game changer for my illustrations, especially since my daughter was born. I can pick it up whenever I have a few moments to myself!

Where do you make your items? In my little studio at home.

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? Connecting with so many lovely people, customers and fellow sellers. It have been such an enriching experience!

Where do you make your items? In my home studio, which just so happens to be a 400 year old, converted barn.

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I'm an indecisive type and have always worked in a variety of media - often mixed media. I particularly love sculpting in polymer and paper clay, needle felting and illustrating with alcohol ink markers, pencil crayon and watercolour.

Where do you make your items? I don't have a studio, so I work tucked away in a little corner of my bedroom, trying very hard not to make too much mess and irritate my long-suffering husband!

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I love combining watercolour and ink work with papercut techniques. I try and use tree free paper wherever possible, that is paper made from more sustainable resources.

Where do you make your items? I make all of my items in my beautiful home studio in Worcestershire

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? I love the Etsy community I've made loads of Etsy seller friends, and it's great when we are able to hold events and meet Etsy customers

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? My favourite medium to work with is gouache, however I really do like using my drawing tablet alongside Adobe Illustrator to create unique pet portraits. Digital Pet Portraits

Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? Chunky merino wool and my beloved mohair and silk. Why did you start your Etsy shop? I ďŹ nished my work in the linguistic corporation and wanted to start something completely new and fresh. I also wanted to showcase my knitted creations and get inspired by other sellers, also learn some trade tips, SEO, and how to run your own little business. What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? Ability to take part in Etsy markets and meet such lovely sellers and customers.

Where do you make your items? I make my jewellery in a shed at the side of my house, once I shut the door I am in a world of my own imagination.
