1.  Introduction

The Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG took the following decision with effect from 1 September 2021:

  • Amendment to the “Product Specific Supplements” 56 and 57 for Micro Futures on the DAX®, EURO STOXX 50® and SMI® indices

For details to the Liquidity Provider scheme, please refer to the attached Product Specific Supplements (PSS).

2.  Required action

The quote machines need to be adjusted in order to reflect the change in the Liquidity Provider parameters.

3.  Details of the initiative

The Product Specific Supplements (PSS) will be amended to 

  • increase the Liquidity Provider rebate from 75 percent to 100 percent for all Micro Futures,
  • change the quotation requirement for Micro Futures on the EURO STOXX 50® index from 2 to 3 index points.

The changes are intended to attract additional Liquidity Providers and to support different quoting strategies.

On the effective date, the amended PSS will be provided as single PDF file on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following path:

Trade > Market-Making and Liquidity provisioning > Product Specific Supplements to the LPA
