Phoenix Airsoft are raising money for a regular play, 18 year old Jacob. We are raising money to help us, Jacob and his family complete his bucket list.

Here is Jacobs Story:

At the age of 15 in May 2018, Jacob was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer that affects his bones and tissue around his bones. It mainly affects children and young people and is called Metastatic Ewing Sarcoma. Jacob's cancer is primarily in his pelvis with other tumors in his head, legs and spine.

Jacob and his family (Mum, Sammy and younger sister, Leah) have fought every step of the way and Jacob made an incredible recovery in January 2019 at age 17. Unfortunately Jacob's remission only lasted 9 months, when in November 2019, they received the heartbreaking news that his cancer had returned.

Jacob and his family once again faced another battle. Along with Lockdown and the death of his nanna in April 2019, Jacob continued to remain positive, focus on his dreams and beat cancer once again. However recurrent Ewing Sarcoma has a poor prognosis. Jacob has had surgery on his head to remove a tumour and 9 cycles of chemotherapy. Unfortunately this has had no response. Jacob was due to have the primary cancer removed from his pelvis but the tumour on his head returned meaning surgery can no longer go ahead. Jacob and his family now have very little options and Jacob now continues treatment to prolong his life.

Jacob is such a bright, happy and positive young man. His dreams of joining the Royal Tank Regiment have now been put on hold as he continues to fight for his life. No matter how hard or bad things get, he never gives up, he never stops fighting and he never stops smiling.

Jacob has many wishes, dreams and experiences he would like to do in his lifetime and not knowing how long that is, we want to help make them happen...from as little to going to The Edinburgh Tattoo, visiting museums in London, going to The Normandy Beaches, driving a Challenger Tank, Driving a Lamborghini Aventador or Bugatti veyron to meeting his celebrity idols, Ant Middleton (TICK) , Eminem and Tyson Fury. We want to raise money to help make that happen and keep Jacob's spirit, positivity, motivation and fight going.
