(áááSTEVEááá) People who live on Des Moines' south side are in shock tonight -- (ááá2-SHOTááá) after three teenage boys, were shot-and- killed in their neighborhood. (áááSTACEYááá) KCCI's Max Diekneite talked to neighbors. (áááPKGááá) 3 teens shot to death -- in a south side Des Moines home. Police say the victims... 19-year-old Devonte Swanks... his 16-year-old brother, Malachi Swanks... and their friend, 15-year-old Thayne Wright... were were discovered by a family member -- just before midnight Thursday night. Des Moines police have identified three people who were found deceased in a Des Moines home late Thursday night.Police said 19-year-old Devonte Swanks, 16-year-old Malachi Swanks and 15-year-old Thayne Wright appear to have died of gunshot wounds. Police said Devonte Swanks and Malachi Swanks are brothers and lived in the home at 619 East Hackley. Wright was a friend who was visiting. He is also from Des Moines.PREVIOUSLYDes Moines police were called to the 600 block of East Hackley Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m. Authorities said someone returned to the home to find three individuals with gunshot wounds, deceased."This is nothing random," said Sgt. Paul Parizek, with Des Moines police.Parizek confirmed there is not a threat to the community. While authorities are still notifying the victims' families, they are refraining from sharing the ages and names of the victims."(The families) are waking to the worst day ever," Parizek said.Parizek said authorities are still collecting evidence and focusing on interviews to get more information. He also warned the public to be cautious while using social media and avoid spreading false information on the case."There's a lot stirring on social media right now," Parizek said. Des Moines police have identified three people who were found deceased in a Des Moines home late Thursday night.

Police said 19-year-old Devonte Swanks, 16-year-old Malachi Swanks and 15-year-old Thayne Wright appear to have died of gunshot wounds.

Police said Devonte Swanks and Malachi Swanks are brothers and lived in the home at 619 East Hackley. Wright was a friend who was visiting. He is also from Des Moines.

Des Moines police were called to the 600 block of East Hackley Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m. Authorities said someone returned to the home to find three individuals with gunshot wounds, deceased.

"This is nothing random," said Sgt. Paul Parizek, with Des Moines police.

Parizek confirmed there is not a threat to the community. While authorities are still notifying the victims' families, they are refraining from sharing the ages and names of the victims.
