PiPA (Parents and Carers in Performing Arts) was created to address a lack of provision for parents and carers in the performing arts. Their mission is to promote best practice employment and support for parents and carers in the performing arts sector by working collaboratively with the industry to develop and implement the PIPA Best Practice Charter and implement strategies for change by data collection, research, and lobbying.

SWAP’ra (Supporting Women and Parents in Opera) is a group of artists who have come together to build a supportive community and to effect positive change for women and parents in opera.

Coram Family and Childcare Trust’s website includes straightforward advice for parents and is designed to help you understand the support available to you, including local childcare, help with childcare costs, and childcare for children with SEND.
