Book Study Proposal Form
If you would like to host a book study for the FEH region, please fill out this form to submit your proposal.
If selected, you will be need to set up the book study in Schoology or Google Classroom and share this information with Shannon Pitcher-Boyea spitcherboyea@fehb.org and Carol Burgess cburgess@fehb.org. You will need to include a schedule of assignments, respond to colleagues, facilitate conversation, and check attendance.
Books will be purchased by BOCES for up to 20 people. If you need more because you are so awesome and you have recruited your colleagues, we will order more.
The typical set up for participation is a reflective post each week, a tweet to the professional community, and two comments to colleagues. If you can set up live meet or check in, that is great too.
The culmination is really how to transfer this new learning into your practice, so really encouraging folks to develop an action plan is important.
Other innovative ideas for books studies and responses are welcome.
