CANTON  A 72-year-old man moving a small house drove through an Interstate 77 construction zone and became stuck Tuesday afternoon, said Ray Marsch, spokesman for the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The driver then left the house there — in the zone.

The mobile home remained between the southbound and northbound lanes on Wednesday morning, but Marsch said the mobile home is expected to be removed early Thursday.

He said the left lane of I-77 northbound would be closed between 3:30 and 6 a.m. Thursday to tow the mobile home off the highway. Marsch said the mobile home would be towed south in the northbound lane to the nearby exit.
