2022 African American Heritage Celebration

Part of Westchester County's Cultural Heritage Celebrations, the 2022 African American Heritage Celebration will feature live entertainment, music, dance, drama, poetry, ethnic food, line dancing, cultural arts and crafts, health and educational vendors, and more.

Celebration Event Volunteers are needed to assist with the organization and management of the outdoor event taking place at Kensico Dam Plaza. Volunteers are encouraged to express their interest in a specific day and time slot below (feel free to choose more than one slot!).

Volunteer projects include:

• Unloading and setting up co-sponsor tables and chairs
• Assisting with vendor sign-in
• Helping vendors set up pop-up tents
• Decorating the performance stage
• Folding paper programs
• Breaking down decorations, tables, and chairs
