Training Release:
Potentially, training in the martial arts is a dangerous activity. Bumps, bruises, scrapes, scratches and soreness are common, but not limited to sprains, strains, twists, cramps, and injuries of similar magnitude, and students can expect to encounter these injuries frequently. The possibility of more serious injury exists, including but not limited to fractured bones, fractured teeth, cauliflower ear, torn ligaments, though not all students encounter such serious injuries. There remains, despite safety precautions, the remote possibility of crippling or death, though this is certainly not expected in the martial arts class.
I understand the above statement of risk, and I understand the rights and responsibilities of students. I assume responsibility for my own safety (or safety of my child) understanding and accepting the risk involved with martial arts training. Even if the instructor has informed that no serious injuries have ever happened in the school or with any of the instructors. I understand that dis does not mean there is no possibility of harm.
Therefore, in consideration for receiving martial arts instruction and training at CMJJ Lake Highlands. I assume entire responsibility and liability for any claim or action specifically including claims for negligence, based on or arising out of injuries, including death, to me or damages to destruction of my property, sustained or alleged to have been sustained in connection with or to have arisen out of incidental to any or all instruction, training or exercise performed pursuant to my martial arts studies at CMJJ Lake Highlands and all instructors, staff, guest, students, landlord, management companies and any and all other parties of liability including but not limited to any claim based in whole or part on negligence, against CMJJ Lake Highlands.
