Suffolk County Off Track Betting officials announced Friday that a $200 million expansion for Jake's 58 is on the table.
They say the plan is to double the size of the building and to double the number of slots and video games from 1,000 to 2,000.
OTB officials say any potential new casino coming to Nassau County won't impact them.
"It's not going to have much of an effect on us," says Suffolk Regional OTB President/CEO Phil Boyle. "We have a very loyal customer base. With our beautiful new expansion, we think it's only going to get bigger."
Officials say plans are also in the works to renovate the facility.
