Suzuki SX4 2023.

The new crossover Suzuki SX4 is certified in Russia with turbo engine.

The pre-reformed model in Russia is still equipped with atmospheric engine, but this engine is not present in the recent vehicle type approval (MVTS).

Last November, Suzuki presented S-Cross (in Russia, pre-reform SX4): this «five-door» was declared the next-generation model, although in fact it is a restyled SUV on the old platform.

Parketnik with the new design has already reached Europe, and now he is certified in Russia — fresh OTTS will take effect from November 4.

By the way, the document indicates a double name SX4 S-Cross, but so far it is not known under what name restyling cross planned to sell in our country.

The front part of the facade was completely redesigned: grille became bigger and got rid of vertical wedges, shining «dashes» and chrome stripes instead of them; Suzuki SX4/S-Cross received new hood and headlights.

Behind the hood there are fanciful lamps and more massive bumper. Also the shape of rear pillar windows is changed.

Inside the front panel is modernized, in addition the screen of multimedia system now «floats».

Dimensions of the European crossover have not changed: length — 4300 mm, width — 1785 mm, height — 1580 mm, wheelbase — 2600 mm. The Russian version has the same dimensions, but we still have certified 4325 mm long variant.

The engine in Certificates of Conformity is the same — the old petrol «turbo four» K14C 1.4, which produces 140 hp and 220 Nm.

Turbo engine still «fed» with Ai-95, it works with a «manual» or «automatic», the drive is front or full.

Meanwhile, Russian Suzuki SX4 before-reformed has turbo-engine combined only with 6ACP. Moreover, Russian pre-reformed Parkett has an atmospheric engine M16A 1.6 (117 hp, 151 Nm).

The list of equipment for our new crossover includes 16- or 17-inch wheels, climate control, electric drive and heating of outside mirrors, heating of front seats, ESP, front and side airbags, knee airbag for driver, safety curtains, multimedia system with a navigator.

Suzuki planned to introduce SX4/S-Cross to Russian market in 2022; as before, cars had to be delivered from Hungarian plant.

But because of problems with logistics, caused by all known events, the terms of restyled cross appearance in the Russian Federation are hard to predict now.

The same old crossover with an atmospheric engine 1.6 in our price list today costs from 2,069,000 rubles, with a turbocharged 1.4 engine — from 2,449,000 rubles.
