Their dance video--and their love--is about to go viral...

Dalton Cunningham has always been the comic relief in his family. And he's worried they may never see him as anything else, and that they might be right. It might be too late for his father to see Dalton prove himself as an adult capable of helping build the family business, but it's not too late to show his brothers and his mom.

His tool of choice? Social media. He's got the marketing down pat, and when he pulls in a classical dancer to build his brand, things really take off.

The problem? That dancer is Rae Trask, and she doesn't appreciate some goofy hot wine guy stealing her dance videos and making a mockery of them. She's busy trying to save her studio and her dream. Even though no one else seems to believe a dream is something to build a life around.

When Rae and Dalton combine forces, they set the app on fire, and find a little heat erupting between the two of them.

Can they work together to accomplish their goals? And will their spark burn into something much hotter?

OMGosh!! This was so stinkin’ cute and charming and fun and just utterly delightful! I love, love, love this series so much.

This story has the perfect amount of humor and heart, making me smile from beginning to end. I never wanted to put it down.

Tired of being the class clown, the jokester, the big goof, Dalton is ready to prove himself as a responsible and important employee of the winery. He’s ready to get serious.

Raeanne (Rae) is struggling to keep her dance studio up and running. When a fellow TikTok user approaches her and suggests they work together for marketing purposes, she is hesitant and skeptical at first. But once they start hanging out more, making videos together, and being successful at getting more business, sparks fly and feelings grow and adorableness ensues.

Gosh these two… they are so sweet together!! I’m pretty sure there were hearts in my eyes for most of this book. From the TikTok videos to the psycho cat named Pinky to the heartwarming grand gesture, I couldn’t love this book any harder if I tried.

I must also mention other characters in here who keep this series entertaining and full of snort giggles. I always enjoy seeing Frank and the girls. I love how the town accepts him and his entourage. And then there’s Aunt Martha and her inappropriate stories at exactly the wrong times. And Robin…she’s always good for a few chuckles as well.

Save the Last Text was another well-written, feel-good story in this series! Did you read and love the first two books? Then you’ll love this one too! If you haven’t, you need to! You’ll be happy you did.

And to say I’m excited for Dillon’s story would be an understatement. Bring on the next Cunningham brother!

I just adored this book...okay, I probably say that about all of these two ladies' books, but I'm not lying.

Raeanne (Rae) is a wonderful dancer trying to keep her dance studio afloat. Her mom had owned it her whole life, and since taking it over, another studio in town was taking away all of her business.
Dalton (the jokester of the Cunningham brothers) wants to be taken seriously and have an official title at the winery. He thinks making a bet is the only way to obtain said position.
It involves duets, and Tiktok, and his enthusiasm for marketing the winery along with dancing.
Enough about the synopsis of the story. These two are AMAZING together! They are both hard workers, great dancers, passionate about what they do, and get along so freaking well... well for the most part. What I'm trying to spit out is these 2 are adorable!!!

We of course get plenty of all the other families/characters in this book, which I have loved with all 3 of these. I can't freaking wait for Dillon's book!!
You don't have to read the previous 2 gems to understand this book, but I would highly recommend it. Or heck, read this one then read the other 2. Either way, it's a win/win decision.

I received an advanced copy of this book, and am leaving an honest review.

Dalton and Rae meet I the third book in the Digital Dating series. It is a standalone within an interconnected series and ends with a HEA. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.
Dalton is known for being the funny guy, unafraid to be goofy in pursuit of a good time. At 24, he wants to be taken more seriously. He has fully embraced using social media for marketing and makes a bet with his brother, Boston, that he can increase the bottom line of West Wines using Tik Tok. What follows is a fun meet cute with Rae, who is also trying to grow her dance studio business. Rae is sweet, smart, and passionate about dance. Together, Dalton and Rae use Tik Tok to the advantage of their businesses and fall hard for each other along the way.
There are romantic moments, including an impressive grand gesture. I love the family and friend support and interactions. Physical scenes are limited with closed door bedroom interactions. There were also several scenes where I laughed out loud. This was a fun and enjoyable read and an excellent addition to the series.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.

When I started reading this story, I could just hear one of the extra characters in this story say: “Is there a clock making noise in here???” You’ll have to read this story in order to get that reference but the main characters, Raeanne and Dalton are using TikTok to…let’s say, achieve a goal!

Save the Last Text is lighthearted, and fun, and poignant and touched many “feels” for me. I understood Raeanne’s issues with her dad but her budding relationship with Dalton helps make her stronger. And Dalton. He comes off as a sort of dingy character but he has heart and soul and a deep love and devotion to his family. And he and Rae make a great team, in more ways than one.

And then there’s Frank and his friend(s)…OMG!

I may have sniffled a few times, and I certainly laughed hard other times, but it’s a fun, fast read and I enjoyed.

This story is so sweet, I think I need to check for cavities after reading! And let me be clear, that extra sweetness doesn't make it bad - it's pure and simple emotion that shows you don't always need over the top steam. Dalton and Rae's relationship evolves nicely and they quickly become the cute couple we all hate, but secretly admire!
As usual, we're treated to cameos from all the residents, family members (anyone else desperate to read Robin's story?!) and Frank with his mannequin of the moment turns up a couple of times. What's not to love about this series? Nothing, its bliss in a book ❤️
Dillon is up next and I can't wait to get my hands on his story...

“I’ll make you a bet right now, punk. I can get one hundred thousand followers in one month.” - Dalton

Dalton was determined to use social media to promote his family's winery. It had worked for others, why not him? If he could get 1000,000 followers on Tiktok in one month, he'd also get a nice, fat, promotion! What could POSSIBLY go wrong?

"He was handsome in a ridiculously approachable way, with his slightly mussed hair and the killer smile that bordered on goofy and therefore was less intimidating than it could have been. He was just shy of polished, and that was what I loved best about him. He was so real. And I lied— the thing I loved best about him was that he totally got me. He understood that dance was the thing that kept me sane, the thing that let me breathe. And he supported it." - Raeanne

Devastated to learn yet another student was deserting her for a rival dance studio, Raeanne's final nerve nearly snapped when she saw the Tiktok video that Dalton had posted. The nerve! Was he TRYING to finish her off? The texts fly fast and furious; once Raeanne meets Dalton, however, sparks start to fly as well...

"You danced your way into my life when I didn’t even know I was looking for you.” - Raeanne

A ROM com like no other, Marika Ray does it again! Humor, misunderstandings and a happily ever after that will give you jazz hands!

I loved Dalton and Rae! Favourite of the series!

Dalton is the social media guru for the family business, but he feels like he is just a joke to everyone else and they don't take him seriously.  He wants to set up the business with a Tiktok account but Boston, his oldest brother and in charge at West Wines doesn't think it the right path for business!  Dalton wants to prove him and everyone else that doubts him wrong and decides to have a little "Bet" with his oldest brother and is ready to prove him and everyone else wrong.

Raeanne, Rae is the owner of On Your Toes dance school, she loves to dance but recently her school has been struggling and she is just not bringing in the clients - her dad in particular thinks she needs a "proper job".  She needs help in bringing new clients but she doesn't know how!

When she discovers that her dance studio and her have gone virial after Dalton shares one of her videos to dance alongside of maybe he can help her out with this "Tiktok"!  What starts of as dancing quickly leads to much more!

I have been loving this lighthearted feel-good series from two of my favourtie Rom-Com writers.  An absolute must read!

Dalton knows that he has a lot of great ideas that would allow them to take the family winery to the next level. The only problem is that his family doesn’t agree and he is determined to prove them wrong.

All Rae has ever wanted is to ensure the success of her dance studio however between her competition and the video that Dalton has posted she is beginning to believe that it will ever happen. When she tracks him down they decide that working as a team can help them both reach their goals and that is when the fun really begins.

Fun and flirty I really enjoyed watching their relationship unfold. Both Dalton and Rae feel unsupported by those closest to them so the way they support each other is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Super cute fast read. I am in love with this series and Dalton and Rae's story perfectly fit in. Dalton and Rae meeting was happenstance and what starts out as contentious quickly morphs into love. Both Dalton and Rae "get" one another; their dreams and hopes. They fit into each others lives so seamlessly that you can't help but smile. Of course being from Solano Creek they interact with some of the town's colorful characters and there is a lot of fun and quirkiness to make this story fun. I cannot wait for more future antics.

Wine, TikTok meet cute, dancing, a cat named Pinky, and a flash mob…. Then you have Dalton, a goofball with a serious and sweet side and Rae, who just wants to save her dance studio mixed in with all that awesomeness and you are on a trip to swoonville.

Pinky stole the show for me…I had a cat like him growing up.

“He’s playing with your hair. That’s so sweet. Don’t make any sudden moves though, okay dear?”

“Can you call off your cat?” I whispered as Pinky’s claw grazed my cheek.

Her name was Spaz and I think her and Pinky could have been siblings, lol.

This collaboration will make your day so much better. These two authors will have you laughing and wanting more of these addictive characters and stories. I don’t do TikTok but Dalton and Rae are pros and what they go through is epic. You also get some time with favorites. I am anxiously waiting on the next because I know it will be just as good…if not better. If you have not started this series yet…what are you waiting for?

Dalton makes a bet with Boston that he can use social media and tik-tok to increase sales at West Wines and/or the winery - they're a blur to me at this point. He picks a local dancer's tik tok to duet with and they go viral... and they start dancing.

All of this was a bit lackluster for me and didn't enjoy the main characters enough for more stars. I found D to be less jokester and more just misunderstood. Rae needed to grow a backbone and loosen up.

Marika Ray is a fairly new author to me, but I have to say that I am so happy that I found her books. Save the Last Text is the third book in the Digital Dating series...which focuses on the Cunningham brothers...and this is Dalton's story.

Dalton has never been taken too seriously within his family, and is known for being the one always joking around. However, Dalton wants to prove himself, and earn the respect he feels he deserves. He is a genius when it comes to social media, and knows his skills can create more business for the family winery. Inspiration strikes, and he puts his skills to work when he creates a TikTok account for Cunning Ham Wineries. If he can pull this off, his brother has agreed to give him his dream job of becoming the Marketing Manager for the family business. He has only one person standing in his way...the dancer he used in his TikTok post just demanded he take down the video.

Rae Trask is a dancer trying to find a way to get more people to sign up at her dance studio, On Your Toes. Dance is everything to Rae, and she is determined to make her business a success! However, she is slowly losing customers to a rival studio, and she is at a loss on how to change that. On top of that, she has just found out some guy is using her dance videos on his own TikTok account. She reaches out to him, demanding he stop using her dance videos. Her demands are met by his refusal to take them down, and instead she is given an opportunity to work with him to promote both of their businesses.

The story that unfolds is cute, fun, and lighthearted. I absolutely loved the characters...both following their dreams, while trying to prove themselves to their own families. Dalton may be a goofball at times, but he has a heart of gold with good intentions. Rae is struggling not only with keeping her studio afloat, but also is dealing with finding out her dad feels dance should be a "hobby" and not a career. Both characters are determined to make a success in their chosen careers, and by working together, they can both accomplish their goals. Can these two people that met through TikTok come together to help each other achieve their dreams?

Overall, this was just a wonderful and heartwarming story. The characters are extremely well-written and fit so perfectly together that you cannot help but to root for them to get their HEA and then some. Although this can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the entire series. Of course, the previous characters all make an appearance, so those that have read the series will enjoy catching up with them all. As for me, I'm looking forward to the next book in the series which will focus on Dalton's twin brother, Dillon.

I would like to thank Marika Ray for allowing me to read and review an ARC of Save the Last Text. My views are my own, and are in no way influenced by anyone else.

Save the Last Text is the third installment of the super cute and funny Digital Dating series collaboration by Marika Ray and Delancey Stewart. While it can certainly be enjoyed as a complete stand alone- these books are interconnected by the Cunningham brothers and so I personally find it more enjoyable to read a series in order.

Dalton is used to being the clown, the good time guy that no one takes seriously- even though he wishes that people could see past it all to the serious guy he can be when it matters. Which is why he decides to make a bet with his brother, Boston, that he can boost the revenue of their winery through his fun social media presence and TikTok videos. Rae has had one goal her entire life- to be a dancer and teach at the studio that her mother had owned. Only she's steadily losing customers to a new studio and her dad is pressuring her to find a better job. When Dalton duets with one of Rae's videos on TikTok, she's furious about him making a mockery of her passion, until they both find that working together boosts them both in ways they never expected- and not just for their businesses.

I adored Dalton and Rae! Dalton has this fun guy persona down but that also brings a levity to Rae's more focused and single minded personality, while she brings out the more serious side of him that he tends to keep under wraps. It was cute seeing how their relationship morphed quickly from this kind of irritated annoyance on Rae's side to a fast friendship then more. Simply put- they completed the missing piece in each other's life puzzle. They both are on this journey to prove themselves in a way to their respective families so it's something that they bonded over.

Dalton might be the funny guy but man is he the sweetest- like might trump Lincoln as my new favorite Cunningham brother. He seems to know what areas of Rae's life are lacking and works to always fill the void- like introducing her to his family so that she would have more people believing in her dreams behind her. But Rae is quick to read Dalton's step up and fix things attitude as him not having faith in her abilities which puts a wedge in their relationship.

I simply could not put this book down- the banter between Rae and Dalton had me giggling, throw in some of the antics between the Cunningham siblings or the other secondary characters from Solano Creek like Robin or Frank and his many "girls" and my face was stuck in a perma-grin. And it seems that the Cunningham grand gestures keep getting more over the top as they all not only work to find a way to win their girl back in a way that is meaningful to her but to also one up each other is just hilarious but also makes my heart all warm and gooey!

This series is just fun, sweet and adorable- and I am anxiously awaiting for Dillon, the last single brother, to get his happily ever after!

From the moment I opened this book I smiled and didn’t stop until I closed the last thank you. This is a story that touches your heart. A wanna be marketing guy who uses Tik Tok to promote his family’s wine business with the unknown help of his soon to be partner in helping grow this business, her dance business and so much more. What could go wrong or be so right?
Well that’s why you have to read this delightful book.

You will fall in instant love with Dalton. He’s trying so hard to live down his I’m just here for the party image and show everyone he’s so much more. Then Rae is holding on so tight to the dream she grew up with and she’s finding it hard to breathe. Dance is her release, her dream, her passion. She wants someone to believe in her. These two have so much in common yet at times seem worlds apart. During this story they create their own version of a Pas de deux. It is a beautiful thing to watch. While I was reading a song popped into my mind, Collide by Howie Day because the lyrics are so beautiful and these two people couldn’t be more opposite but so right for each other.

Delaney Stewart and Marika Ray have become one of my favorite author teams. They work so well together. I can’t wait for the next installment in this series.

So do yourself a favor and pickup this delightful, enchanting book. You deserve to smile and feel good and maybe it’ll make you want to save the last dance for someone special in your life or bring back beautiful memories.

I dived into book 3 with a lot of joy in my heart because this series is quickly becoming very beloved for me! The pairing of Delancey Stewart and Marika Ray is the best thing in 2021!

I’m all in for a romantic story and this one checks off all my boxes:
✅small town
✅siblings
✅close knit friends and family
✅big romantic gestures

When a want-to-be marketing director for a wine business decides to take to social media, picks a tictok professional dancer to duet with and she objects to his duets with her, what could possibly go wrong?

Dalton and Rae are at odds in the beginning of this book, but, her failing dance studio get a lot of attention when Dalton starts to duet with her on TikTok. He helps his family’s business as well as Rae’s dance studio.

Love this family and friend group and I’m looking forward to How to Lose a Girl in 10 Texts, book 4 by Marika Ray and Delancey Stewart!

This book made my happy heart sigh! It’s sweet and funny with plenty of chemistry and even a little bit of angst. So far, we’ve only ever seen Dalton as the sunny, goofy guy. It was fascinating to learn everything that was going on behind that mask. Rae wasn’t what I was expecting to see as a partner for Dalton. She’s driven, but her head’s, maybe, a little lost in the clouds. I guess you kind of have to be a dreamer in order to build you life around a dream. However, now that I’ve seen them together, I can’t think of anyone who could have been a better match. I loved getting this chance to come back to the Cunning Ham winery and catch up with the Cunningham family. I can’t wait until we get to do it again.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

I didn’t think it could get much better than the first two books in this series, but Save the Last Dance managed to dance it’s way into my heart!

Readers who enjoy TikTok will love that it plays a really big part in this book and it’s how Dalton and Raeanne meet. Dalton is a lot of fun and is perfect for bringing out the fun side of the more serious Rae. It doesn’t take long for them to want to be more than just two TikTokers helping each other out! Like the other books, this includes a funny and big gesture to win back the girl, but I was a little frustrated with Rae towards the end and almost felt like she should be making the grand gesture! I don’t think this is considered a “clean” book but you won’t find more than some kissing in this one.

Heartwarming and lighthearted , I loved this quick read!

What a Fun & Cute Story

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found it to be a fun time. In the age of online dating and digital media, I find this series, to be a good look at how interconnected real life and the digital world are. Even though the main couple did not start out on the right foot, I felt that they worked through their differences in an original and fun way. This is the third biook in the series and I recommend reading the first two books before this one. Even though this can be read as a stand-alone book the timeline, and other characters relationships will be clearer if the books are read in order.

Great read!

Cute story! Dalton and Rae both are dedicated to succeeding. Rae uses her passion of dancing as her choice of career by running her own studio. Dalton used social media to promote his business and his love for marketing. The two join together making TikTok videos to promote their prospective businesses. It’s love at first site but Dalton somehow finds a way to push Rae in the opposite direction. Following in his brother’s footsteps, Dalton does a grand gesture to win back his love. Overall a fantastic read! In the next story will momma Cunningham step in with Dillon and Sophia or will Dalton help his twin?

This is another wonderful entry in this incredibly enjoyable series. This fast-paced read is the perfect combination of heartwarming, humorous, poignancy and emotion to give you that satisfying blast of feels and swoon that you crave, while also putting a smile on your face and your heart. Rae and Dalton are super easy to love and love them I did. These two were positively meant-to-be and I enjoyed every single second of their cute and effervescent romance. Of my own accord I am posting a candid review.

Loved this book. Dalton is a comical guy who wants to prove to his brother he could be a manager of the business. Rae is a dancer and dance instructor who wants to make her dance studio thrive, but it's been difficult. Dalton finds Rae and they get together to make videos on TikTok to help each other with their businesses. Why not just had a little heat to them both and see what comes about. I loved this book from beginning to end. It was hard to put down. It's emotional. Kind of going backwards with these books. #3, #2, and #1, but enjoying each one.

Dalton is tired of being considered the family clown. He wants his brother Boston to take him seriously and give him the promotion he deserves. But to even get him to consider it he has to make a bet. So he decides to do a duet on someone’s TikTok dance. But when the poster of the video tells him to take it down, he can’t believe it. Rae has enough going on trying to keep her studio open, she doesn’t need the added stress of some strange guy, posting duets with her. Can Dalton get her to see how this can help both their careers. And can he keep it professional, if she does?

Another sweet, fun and quirky addition to the Digital Dating series!

Fun-loving, goofy Dalton was a delight to get to know, and discovering the depth of his character and his serious side was a pleasure.

Rae was a pleasure to "meet" with her determination, grit and perseverance. Although one to "let loose" less than Dalton, her enthusiasm for dance and desire to make something of her dream balanced the "serious" in their relationship.

Looking forward to Dillon's story!

A quick and easy summer read. The Cunningham brothers are charming, caring and big on romance. When they fall in love they fall hard and fast.

This guy and his antics are very entertaining but he’s more than good looks and a good time.

I’m totally into this family and can’t wait for the twin brother to get his second chance at love.

Ray and Stewart, excellent as ever!

When Dalton invaded Rae's TikTok space, fireworks broke out. Rae thought he was goofy and irritating. Dalton thought she was beautiful and talented. Turns out they were a case of opposites attracting and being the perfect blend. As always with the Cunningham boys, there had to be a "grand gesture" at some point and this one even brought out her business rival in her corner. Can't wait to see the match between Dillon and Sophie.
