Gecko Canoeing’s Award Winning River Tour Range enables you to experience river touring at its best. Comfortable ‘down stream’ touring, incredible wildlife ‘close ups’ and relaxing camping with chairs and tables and someone to cook and do the dishes for you. Sleep under a blanket of stars and wake to a chorus of birds (and a hot cup of coffee) – we aim to please. We don’t paddle within Nitmiluk National Park. If you wish to include Nitmiluk Gorge in your visit, we can arrange a boat cruise as part of your itinerary, just ask. Other rivers, other areas, other exciting experiences are also on offer. The Northern Territory is an outstanding birding destination comprising sandstone and woodland endemics in the north and some rewarding desert birding in the south.The Katherine region offers the opportunity to view over 230 species. The tours listed below are designed to observe as many species in the different habitats in the region in the timeframe allocated.
