Trainer

Ir Dr Chua Kein Huat is an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer and an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). He is also the Chairperson of the Centre for Railway Infrastructure and Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electronic and Systems) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2004, Master of Engineering (Electrical Energy and Power System) from Universiti Malaya in 2009 and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) from UTAR in 2016. His Ph.D. research study involved the investigation of peak reduction using energy storage systems. His research interests include the applications of energy storage system, energy management system, energy audit, power protection systems, and fuzzy logic control. He is a Certified Electrical Energy Manager and a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with Energy Commission. He is the associate editor for the Journal of Electronic Science and Technology (indexed by SCOPUS). He has conducted training courses and workshops for IRIS Corporation Berhad, Supreme Didactic Sdn Bhd, Dream Catcher Consulting Sdn Bhd and IOI Edible Oils Sdn Bhd.

Terms & Conditions:

9. Fees paid are not refundable but replacement of participants may be allowed.
10. Full attendance of the course shall entitle participants to CPD hours/CPD points and Certificate of Attendance.
11. The University reserves the right to make any amendments and/or changes to the programme if warranted by circumstances beyond its control. The University also reserves the right to cancel the programme if the number of participants is not sufficient. However, the University shall notify the participant of any changes three (3) days prior to the programme. The fees paid will be fully refunded if the University cancels the programme.
