By definition, customer is someone who purchases other persons goods or services. They drive revenues and ensure we stay in business because "Happy Customers" rewards repeating business deals to companies who meet and exceed their expectations. Therefore, companies should do their best to understand their customers better so that they can serve them better. They closely monitor their customer service, seek feedbacks from time to time to create better products and services.
As per the research, it costs five times more to get a new customer than to retain one. In order to create a solid base of happy, loyal customers, one needs to up their game by creating personalized and genuine interest in the customers and build lasting relationship. Customer delight is a step above customer satisfaction. It is all about exceeding your customers’ expectations, surprising them, and creating for them a positive, emotional experience with your brand.
