This one was much better than I thought it was going to be. It was funny and amazing. I can't wait to read the next book after that ending.

Oh my goodness!! I was rolling on the floor. This book had some hilarious moments in it but also had some sad and confusing moments. Wilder please his hometown and everyone in it nine years prior but now he’s back and he wants Shelby Lyn. She had told him before he left that she loved him and he left her and the town in his rearview mirror so she doesn’t understand him wanting her when he comes back. Shelby Lyn tries to avoid him but being a small town Wilder makes that impossible. This was a fun, short and cute read.

This is such a cute story!!!! Shelby Lyn is from a town called Adams and will always stay. They have a close nit community and love one another. The gossip train starts when someone is coming home from Chicago. Wilder is don’t working his life away and wants to come home to a fresh start. He’s always had one thing in his mind for nine years and it’s Shelby Lyn.

This was a cute story, Shelby Lyn was so much fun as the story progresses she becomes so tied up in knots over being around Wilder again, and she becomes a regular klutz but, she just shakes it off and moves on each and every time. Wilder was a man she was in love with what seemed eons ago but, regardless of time, her feelings have never waned.
Shelby's town is small, so town gossip moves quickly, and Shelby seems to be the hot topic at the moment. We loved how instantly protective Shelby Wilder became and how he defended her to others, don't get me wrong the town loves the talented little wreath maker but, Wilder's interest in her got the tongues wagging.
Long-lost love, can it be rekindled? Was Shelby, the one that got away? Sometimes you have to leave those you love behind to pursue your hopes and dreams before you can obtain your happily ever after. For us, this was just and cute and fun and flirty romance, and we loved the fact that although time passed for this couple, the torch they carried for one another never really waned but, are they brave enough to risk their hearts? Oh, how we laughed with this one...

Argumento:
Hace nueve años, Shelby Lyn le dijo a Wilder Presley que lo amaba. Wilder se subió a su camioneta roja y se fue sin decir una palabra ni despedirse.
Ahora, Wilder ha regresado luciendo tan bien como los fuegos artificiales del 4 de julio que iluminaron el cielo del condado de Jefferson, y está aquí para quedarse.
Shelby siempre supo que Wilder estaba fuera de su alcance. Él era el chico de campo popular que era amado y adorado por todos, mientras que Shelby era la chica tímida y tranquila que era invisible para todos.

Mi humilde opinión:
Un romance en un pueblo pequeño/amigos a amantes / segunda oportunidad en el amor.
La historia me gustó, se lee fácil, es entretenida y los personajes eran agradables.
Pero sentí que la historia se guardó detalles. Me hubiera gustado conocer más el pasado de Shelby y Wilder, empezaron como amigos, ella lo ayudó en la escuela como tutora, él era el jugador estrella y en ese tramo se enamoraron pero nunca se lo confesaron. Todo esto me lo contaron y no me lo mostraron. Fue confuso porque él se marchó sabiendo que era la chica que amaba y no dejó de pensar en ella en los nueve años que se fue a vivir a la ciudad. No entendí porque no pudo mantenerse en contacto con ella si sabía que era especial o cuando volvía para las fiestas a casa de sus padres nunca se acercó a ella. Esperó volver a vivir en el pueblo para volver a hablarle. Es que me hizo ruido la separación si no había entre ellos un problema mayor.
Después disfruté de su reencuentro pero no sentí la chispa, era toda una situación divertida pero me parecieron más como amigos que vuelven a reconectar que algo más. Es más, pasan una linda velada juntos, de nuevo me dicen pero no me muestran, tras lo cual ella no le contesta el mensaje por días cuando él pregunta cuando puede volver a verla. No entendía la razón para ignorarlo cuando él quería volver a salir con ella! No había duda que hacían una pareja adorable pero necesité más contrucción de la relación romántica. Todo se da muy rápido en la última página del libro.
Ni siquiera entendí la razón por la que Charly termina su relación con Missy. Y al final hay un adelanto con ella quizás descubriendo que está embarazada?

This was a really cute, funny and adorable second chance romance novella. I really enjoyed it but I only wished it was longer. But I did love that there is a second book coming about Shelby's bestie, Missy.
This is a second chance romance between two really good friends. They both had extremely deep feelings for each other, but they never had the courage to face their feelings for each other until now.
Wilder growing up in his small town always dreamed of the big city and he knew the only thing that could stop him was his feelings for Shelby and so he denied them. Shelby is kind of one huge mess but in the very best way, but she had a hard time sharing her feelings, so she just claimed Wilder as a friend.
Now nine years later, Wilder is ready for Shelby, and he has come home. But she tries to duck him and avoid him, but their small town knows they are meant for each other and so they matchmake these two with some wonderfully amusing results.
Shelby was such a fun character, and I loved her klutzy nature. She made me laugh and giggle and this was such a fun, light read that I absolutely adored it.

This is a quick read that will have you laughing, smiling and cheering for a happy ending. Wilder Presley left his small hometown as soon as he graduated, leaving a heartbroken Shelby Lyn behind. Well in all fairness he didn’t know she was heartbroken because she always labeled them as “Friends”. Well it’s been almost 10 years and Wilder is back in town. He’s now a successful man who has accomplished everything he hoped for and now all he wants is his girl.
As for Shelby Lyn, she now has her own business but she’s still the klutzy, insecure woman she was in high school. Well at least when Wilder Presley is around. How in the world is she going to survive when the crush she thought she had forgotten has moved back to their small town? What’s worse is he seems to be everywhere she goes and is looking even sexier than he did 10 years ago?
This is a sweet, adorable, funny read that will capture your heart. Grab this one up, asap. It’s one hilarious romance you don’t want to miss. I sure hope Ms. Travers brings us more from this zany group of characters.

Wilder Presley Says He Loves me by Winters Travers is a delightfully lighthearted romantic comedy. This is a short story (only 17 chapters), but it is packed full of cuteness. I have not read anything previously published by this author but my word I will in the future. I laughed aloud (and almost snorted water out my nose) as Missy and Shelby Lynn discuss Shelby’s long time love interest Wilder Presley. This is a unique story and leads into the next book “Charlie Beck says I’m His” The back-and-forth banter between all the characters is amusing and engaging. I read this in about an hour and laughed the whole time. Absolutely loved it! 5-shiny-ribbon covered stars for Wilder Presley Says He Loves Me by Winter Travers.

I absolutely LOVED this story so much, and let me tell you, it's one of those feel good stories that will turn a bad day around. Shelby Lyn lives in this delightfully nosy small town called Adams, and I really want to go there in person. Anytime someone comes home causes the tongues to wag out of control, and Wilder has finally come home. See, he always wanted to see what he could do away from town, and nine years later, he's home to get a fresh start. He & Shelby Lyn were friends with secret feelings, and now that he's back home, well, she's doing everything she can to make sure that she doesn't come across his path since she believes she embarrassed herself all those years ago. She kept me laughing with the klutz she became around him, because she could not stay out of his way, especially as he wasn't about to let her. The gossiping about them both (her especially) isn't helping matters either. Wilder is a good guy & Shelby Lyn is an amazing girl. and maybe just maybe, their time has finally come but you'll have to read it for yourself to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Shelby Lyn is the secret friend and seeing Wilder again, while not looking her best, tells us pretty much everything we need to know about her. She’s a good girl, a good friend and makes killer wreaths. She is the epitome of small town-ness.

Cute but confusing story! The premise of this book is what attracted me to it – Shelby-Lyn was in love with Wilder growing up and told him so right as he was leaving town, but her confession didn’t make him stay. Years later, she’s moved on in life, although she still harbors those same feelings, and when she finds out he’s coming back to town for good, she’s distraught. After years of life in the big city, Wilder is ready to return to his small hometown, actually appreciating it and what it involves. Determined to get Shelby-Lyn back into his life, he pursues her while she tries to avoid him, which makes for a funny storyline. Thankfully, all works out for this couple and Shelby-Lyn gets the HEA she always wanted. While I enjoyed the book, I felt like I was missing a lot of backstory for these characters and their overall story, which made it a little difficult to read.

If you’re looking for a quick and simple read, this might be the book for you!
Wilder Presley Says He Loves Me is pretty basic, not evolving from the description in any way. Wilder moves back to this small town after a few years away, having never forgot his crush on Shelby Lyn. Shelby, of course, has never gotten over her crush on Wilder either.
I wasn’t crazy about the development in this book, especially near the end, when the two get together. There wasn’t really anything going on. I’ve practically spoiled the entire book for you just by writing this review.
But I also want to take a second to talk about the writing in this book. I don’t often point out if there are a few spelling errors, as things may slip through the cracks every once in a while, but this book had a lot of spelling errors. Not enough to impact the readability, but definitely enough that I think this book should have gone through another pass before being published. Even so much as a run through a word processor’s spelling checker would have greatly helped this book!

Absolutely loved Wilder Presley Says He Loves Me. Its about a girl and a boy who grew up in a small community were everyone knows your name and your entire daily events. Shelby is our main lead, she has never left her hometown but she has become successful. Wilder was the it boy growing up, star football player, smart, sexy. Wilder left small town and went to the big city but he is missing something and its Shelby. Wilder Presley moves home to get his girl and support his home town. Shelby and Wilder have amazing chemistry and sparks will fly. Winter gives us laugh out loud moments from beginning to end. Some of them pretty embrassing for Shelby but she gets up and keeps on trucking. Honestly this is a great fun read with small town drama and with the town gossips fueling the fire. I personally can't wait to see what happens next in Jefferson!!

This short story was a great little breath of fresh air. It was a quick read, but the storyline was full and had characters that you fell for within its short few pages! Shelby Lyn is the type of girl you can easily imagine yourself becoming best friends with. Wilder is the guy who got away but was so good you could never give your heart to another. I loved this little small town atmosphere with everyone knowing everyone’s business in good ways and bad. I loved Shelby’s self made wreath business and Wilder’s readiness to come back home and make a difference in his small town, while also winning over the girl he had to leave behind. Overall, I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading Missy’s story next!! I also loved her as a friend and can’t wait to find out what happens with her and Charlie!

I absolutely loved this sweet romance. Something a little lighter from this author than I am used to but believe me, it ticks every one of the romance book boxes. It was witty, filled with plenty of hilarious moments and the banter between the characters was so entertaining. A love story that has no heat or steam but the chemistry and connection between Shelby Lyn and Wilder Presley can be felt through their words and interactions giving way to what might be. I was captivated by the storyline and characters from the very first page and believe me I will be anxiously waiting for more of this series.

When Shelby plucked up the courage to tell Wilder she loved him, he high tailed it out of town without a word. Now 9-years later Wilder is back to stay, and Shelby is determined to avoid him at all costs. Shelby is super organized, but one moment in Wilder’s presents, and she becomes a klutz which is hilarious. This is a well written quick read, which is fun, light-hearted, with humor, witty banter, second chances, and is an entertaining small town romance comedy.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is the first book in this series. It is a different than the other books by Winter I have read but still a great read. These are more rom-com books with no explicit sex. Shelby Lyn told Wilder she loved him and he left town. That was nine years ago. Now he is back. Fine as ever. Shelby Lyn always thought Wilder was out of her league but did he think the same thing? She is about to find out because he just pulled into her drive way. Nine years has past and they are both different now. The have grown and figured out what is important to him. I loved these characters right from the start. I can’t wait to read more about them. Shelby Lyn and Wilder are perfect for each other. Both are worried the other won’t want them or found someone else during those nine years. Shelby Lyn’s friend is hilarious and I can’t wait to read her book. Wonderful job Winter.

Wow this book went fast! In such a wonderful way.
I’m normally a pretty fast reader, but I drank this in so quickly I surprised myself with how soon I was done.

I loved this cute little read by Winter Travers , it had me from the start I really liked that we were in both the hero and heroines head and just to see how they felt for one another made me silly grin . I liked how the characters didn't get together right away but also the intense spark they had just was swoon worthy . Winter is one of my favorite authors and this was a must read my her .

This is a perfectly sweet, cute, funny quick read that I couldn't put down! I love Wilder and Shelby Lyn, that unrequited love, the small town, all of it! I was hooked and loving the other characters that we met along the way. I'm looking forward to what is to come from this series.

Amazing amazing amazing.. This book was so good I laughed I swooned and everything else in between period I have read every book that this author has ever written and I have never been disappointed.. I love the characters I love the chemistry I love the story I could not put it down and I did not want it to end amazing.

4,5 stars for the first book in the He Says Series. Wilder Presley Says He Loves Me by W. Travers is a delightful read that had me lughing out loud, come on Shelby Lyn is a firecracker, humiliates herself often, what's not to like.
And Wilder, her forever crush is back in their small town after 9 years away.
A beautiful slow burn, second chances story, excellent.

Oh my goodness! Loved it!! A cute small town second chance romance. A town so small everyone knows your business. Love Shelby and feel so sorry but it’s funny how she always seems to humiliate herself. Bless it, you can’t help but live her! Wilder and Shelby will have you falling in love with them!! Loved it!!

I haven't really gotten into books lately, but for the He Says series, I sure did! I felt such a similarity with Shelby, how she acted, and how things happened to her. And then how goofy she acts around Wilder. As someone who has never lived in a small town, I love reading small-town romances for my little glimpse into small-town living. Which I absolutely love!

I have read this author for quite a while now and love her books, this one made me smile and love this couple.
Shelby told Wilder she loved him then he left her in the dust now years later he is back and she is in for a wild time!!
