This isn't my first Nana Malone book, so I went in expecting a cliffhanger and guess what?! It does end with one! Like the other Nana Malone books I've read, this one is a page-turner. I couldn't stop until I got to the end, and now I'm anxiously waiting for The Benefactor! This story, compared to Ms. Malone's last two duets, has more suspense, drama, intrigue, and yes, steam! Big Ben is a slow-burn, contemporary workplace, billionaire romance written in dual first-person POV. It's the first book in a trilogy and it ends with a cliffhanger. I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

I knew this would end on a cliffhanger. I anticipated the cliffhanger. Yet, when it finally arrived, it wasn't what I expected and still managed to leave me with my mouth hanging open. Ben and Olivia together are so light hearted, fun, witty, and sexy. It is hard to reconcile that with this dark, dangerous path they are traveling down. It is an interesting concept. They continue to encounter unpleasant, seedy, creepy, unstable, dangerous people. This book is full of mystery, intrigue, and suspense. I don't know if it is just me, but this book also seems a bit darker and edgier than some of the previous books. A good start to the trilogy. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

What an exciting, intriguing and seductive start to the See No Evil Trilogy. This story hits the ground running when we meet Olivia Ashong escaping from one uncomfortable situation only to be trapped in another. She finds herself hiding in a closet to avoid an awkward situation, only to find someone else is hiding too! This starts the fun, and suspenseful story between sexy billionaire, Ben Covington, and Olivia, who is smart, strong and courageous. Ben is part of a secret society called the Elite. Their brotherhood was made up of Britain's most powerful and wealthiest men. But when Ben's best friend is murdered, he and his closest brother's are out for revenge. It will not be easy and they are risking their lives to do it. But when Olivia unknowingly stumbles into their plans, Ben becomes instantly attracted and protective. He will do whatever it takes to make her his, while keeping her safe. Olivia has always lived a quiet life, followed the rules, and always doing the right thing. She has social anxiety and a douchey, selfish boyfriend who makes her second guess her life. Since she crossed path's with Ben, she wants to be more fun and adventurous. She never expected the excitement that has put her life in danger. This was a great start to this thrilling series. I really connected with Ben and Olivia and with this stunning ending, I can't wait to find out what happens next!
