Faith always writes an exceptional story. This is a next generation book.
Connor and Alyssa met years ago. Circumstances brings them back together again.
I remember Connor from back in the beginning of the Stone Society series.
We watch him grow up and become the the man he is today.
TBH Alyssa reminds me a little of Abby Sciuto.
I believe this just a new beginning for another great series for Faith.

Welcome back to the paranormal world of Gargoyles and the crazy mind of the extremely talented author Ms. Faith Gibson (IMHO of course). I was so excited when I saw Ms. Gibson’s new series Rebel Moon Shifters. A series that is composed of the next generation from her Stone Society series and Hounds of Zeus series, and if you’ve read any of those you understand my excitement. Oh Don’t worry, if you haven’t read them, you won’t be lost, the author gives you enough to keep up.
The series starts with Connor Di Pietro, his visions, his life’s work and his search for his mate. A little girl he first saw in one of his visions at age 6. That girl he learns is Alyssa, a zany, biologist who is a romantic at heart. He finally sees her when his latest vision takes him to her neck of the woods. It’s a suspenseful, romantic read that I can’t wait for more of.

DNF at 100 pages. The writing was a little choppy and uneven, but I was interested enough in the story to overlook that. Until they met again in the present. Then I wasn't able to move past her quick acceptance of him in her life. It just didn't make sense given her trauma over past events. That, coupled with the writing and several other annoyances (mostly the stream-of-consciousness word vomiting the FMC did), turned me off the book.

The Strands of Gold (Rebel Moon Shifters Book 1) by Faith Gibson. Connor is back and he is now a man. For those who have not read The Stone Society series this was my first introduction to Connor and the rest of the Gargoyle clan. Let me say You Need To Read this series. Can't get enough of them. Connor is the next generation. He is has been extremely gifted since he was a child and has known of his fated mate since than. Over the years he has searched for the little girl who he met briefly while kidnapped in Greece. Now he is not only a doctor but a scientist and a renowned artist. After one of his visions of future events which is one of his many gifts since childhood, he goes to the place of where the vision is to supposed to take place where he unexpectedly finds his mate. Alyssa has had a hard time since her kidnapping as a child in Greece. Her only pleasant memory is the young boy she met. She leads a sheltered life with a overbearing mother who is verbally abusive. Alyssa has few things in her life; her job as a scientist, her lizard and her love of her famous artist who just so happens to be Connor under an assumed name. Connor and Alyssa's lives converge and the story begins. I have always loved Connor and for him to find his mate after all this time was everything. He has become quite the young man. The story was very interesting with all the twist and turns. Seeing Connor and Alyssa's relationship evolve was sweet and exciting. The next generation of children is here and I look forward to everyone's book. I also love when I get a glimpse of the original characters and what they are up to now. The author's character development is the best. I am interested in all her characters and I could read a book about each one. Her storytelling skills are on point. I believe I have read almost everything she has written. The author has written many books in several different romance genres. If you get a chance read them all. You won't be disappointed. 5 stars for me. Can't wait for the next book.

Strands of Gold is the first book in this new spin-off, Rebel Moon Shifters, from the Stone Society Series and The Hounds of Zeus MC series.
This new series will be the now grown children from the above 2 series. I also want to thank the author for the list of the cast of characters. It has been a while since I have read one of my most favorite series, The Stone Society.
This is Connor Di Pietro and Alyssa “Ally” Branson’s story. Connor knows Alyssa from the time when they were both kidnapped as kids. Turns out Alyssa is Connor’s fated mate.
I loved reading Connor and Alyssa’s story. Strands of Gold is a great start to this new series. I was thrilled to be back in the world of Gargoyle and Wolf shifters! Plus it was good to read more of the characters from the first 2 series.
I now can’t wait to read Sebastian’s story is next and I for one can’t wait to read his story. 5+ STARS

Conner is sooooo awesome!! His powers r growing as he was getting older. He decided that with the help of his cousins they were going 2 take a trip cause of a primanation (seeing a future event) and try 2 change it or try 2 stop it if all possible. Will he able 2? He will find one hell of a bonus he's been looking forward 2 4 many yrs now!! I loved it!!! I tried 2 read it as slow as possible cause it is awesome 2 read about him being grown up and how much he could have done in his life.

SUPER OUTSTANDING
Conner was one the the Goyal’s I really wanted to get their story. My imagination did not do him justice at all, and I am absolutely thrilled about that! It was also great to connect with some of the other kids! I’m excited to see where this next generation goes!

We’ve watched Connor get older and his gift progressively get stronger throughout the Stone Society books and now he gets his own book and a new series and I am here for it!!! Connor met his mate Alyssa when they were both abducted and held in Greece. Everything that the Store Society has at its disposal and they can’t find her again until his vision leads him to her years later. Alyssa has never forgotten about the boy in Greece she just didn’t know what he was going to mean to her one day. The reunion isn’t all roses- they still have to prevent the deaths of three wolf shifters and Alyssa is right in the middle of all of it. Will Connor and the gang be able to solve the mystery in time to save Alyssa? I can’t wait for this series to continue!! Who will meet their mate next?

Connor has some unique gifts. Ally still remembers someone from her past. Their story was a great way to be introduced to this author. Connor and Ally helped me get to know how creative this author can be. Part of that is due to the fantasy genre.
When an author can take a fantasy and combine it with the world we currently live in, anything is possible. Plus, she takes two characters and makes them so believable you may be able to picture them as a neighbor or someone in your world.
Something great about discovering a new author is you will have plenty of other books to add to your library. Connor happens to appear in one of her other series so you may want to go back and see what The Stone Society series is all about. Shifters are a big part of what makes this an enjoyable book. We get some mystery, we get some romance, and we get some suspense. By the time I got to the end, I was ready to start on book two but sadly it’s not available yet. I will have to be patient until it is.

I was a little apprehensive about this series going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am not a big fan of second-generation books, usually I have a hard time with the babies and little kids growing up and doing adult things. This book is different at the approach, there is just enough back story, so you know about the world this is set in but does not bring a bunch of talk about the parents and what happened in their series. With all that being said, I love this book! Conner and Alyssa are so perfect together and all the secondary characters make this book. Even if you haven’t read any other books by this author, this is a must read.

I must say I am intrigued by this author now. This was my first foray into her paranormal world as the start to a new series. Thankfully there is enough detail so I didn't fell lost but I highly enjoying knowing background series stuff that pops up in future addition. Not to mention next gen is always fun. This one is no exception as I found myself quickly immersed in the amazing paranormal world rooting for the fated mates to find their way. Makes for a fabulous read as it all plays out. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

the next generation starts!
Great first installment of a new goyle series. The story was fast paced enough to keep me reading. As before you can identify with the characters. Add in the addition of a wolf pack some bad guy names from the past and the next generation of hotels you will be reading this one quickly and wanting to see which next gen goyle gets selected by fate. Enjoy!

Loved It!!
I am never a fan of the next generation, however it goes without saying this was a hit. Still some of the same bad parenting where the female can easily. This story had one bad parent and one parent who was under the thumb of a spouse due to finances.
The story progressed and kept you guessing who the bad guys were, even when you knew you didn’t know all!!! Kept me glued.

I was so happy to see this book was about Connor. It did not disappoint! I would recommend this book. Sometimes reading about the kids doesn't always work for me. This book absolutely delivered. If you haven't read the previous books, I would recommend that you start at the beginning. Can't wait for more.

Next Gen amazing
Loved this story. You always wonder what happens to the next generation of shifters in stories and Faith Gibson has started to give us those stories of the Gargoyles and Wolf shifters beginning with Connor. His amazing abilities have helped him find his mate and with her help along with his family continued to keep the secret of shifters well a secret.

I absolutely loved this book, and waiting for the next.
This is going to be a fantastic ride, like it was with the originals. I am so excited for the next book, I have my calendar marked.

Outstanding story. Connor has known since he’s young that he had gifts. There much stronger now. Will there be romance and will it be with his fated mate. Loved this fantasy story. Can’t wait to read more.

Faith Gibson you are a phenomenal author. I have yet to read one of your books that has not left me elated. Connor and Alyssa's story was epic. I wonder why the mother left with squawking as usual. I never imagine Kurt and Julia's relationship to be what it is.,

DNF due to diabetes romanticus. The sweetness it is too much. And in real life people who make life commitments knowing so little about each other soon find whatever they found charming to be irritating. Her "i'm not worthy" was a real turnoff.
