How to Farm XRP on Wanchain using ZooKeeper 🦒

This guide is for anyone that would like to make some extra income using your XRP by Farming on Wanchain. In theory, you could use this guide for Farming Bitcoin and Ether as well!

Requirements

  • XRP
  • XRP Wallet → Ledger, XUMM, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, etc.
  • Wanchain Wallet
  • WanMask

  1. Buy XRP. If you’re a US citizen, you’re limited to exchanges like Uphold, Bitrue, Changelly…once you buy your XRP, you’ll need to send them to a XRP wallet. Xumm, Ledger, Trust Wallet are very good options

  2. Download Wanchain Wallet. This wallet supports cross-chain functionality. Once in Wanchain Wallet, you’ll need to save your seed phrases. Write them down, protect them with your life!! Next, look for Cross Chain and select More Tokens. Scroll down until you see XRP. Select XRPL <-> Wanchain.

  3. Go to Wallet and select XRP → @XRPL. Copy your XRP address, then send your XRP to this address. Once your XRP is deposited into your Wanchain wallet, go back to Cross Chain then select XRPL <-> Wanchain. Look to the right and click on Convert. A prompt will appear. Scroll down, select the box that says Send Everything, then hit Next. Wait a few minutes and you’ll eventually have wanXRP.

  4. Download WanMask.

  • Google Chrome users will need to click here to download WanMask locally. Once you download the files, go to your File Explorer, then Extract the zip file into a folder. Next, go to Chrome Extensions, turn on Developer Mode, click on Load Unpacked, then select the extracted folder.

  1. Once downloaded, you will need to use the same seed phrases that you received from creating your Wanchain Wallet. Click on Import Wallet, then enter your words, and create a password. By doing this, your WanXRP will be in your wallet ready to use for the next step

  1. Open WanSwap. Search for wanXRP and swap into Wan.
  • Note: You will want to swap a 50:50 distribution from wanXRP to Wan. Example: if you have 100 wanXRP, swap 50 wanXRP. This should give you close to 50 or so Wan. When you’re ready, click Swap. This will open your WanMask wallet. Click Confirm.

  1. Open the Pool option at the top of WanSwap. You’re adding liquidity into this pool by clicking Max on wanXRP. This will distribute the Wan and the wanXRP from your wallet. Next, click Confirm Supply. A prompt will appear from your WanMask, click Confirm.

  2. Once the liquidity is in the pool, open ZooKeeper. Connect your WanMask wallet, then look for the giraffe named Rafferty G Monay This is the XRP/Wan option. Click on Deposit WSLP Token. Next, click Max

Note: You can lock up your XRP into the Liquidity Pool for a higher APY. The max is 180 days. If you’re comfortable letting your tokens sit for a prolonged period of time, use the slider to adjust the days. If not, keep the Lock Period at 0. 0 days will allow you to withdraw your tokens anytime.

  1. Click on Approve, then a prompt will appear on WanMask. Click Confirm. Wait until you see Validate, then click it. A prompt will appear on Wanchain, click Confirm.

Congrats! You’re now farming your XRP! Enjoy the higher APY: On average, the APY will be around 17% or 18%

How to Withdraw from ZooKeeper back into XRP

  1. Click Withdraw. A prompt from WanMask will appear. Click Confirm. Once finished, go back to Wanswap Pool. Look for your liquidity Wan/wanXRP. Click Manage, then Remove. Click on Max, Remove, then another prompt will appear from WanMask. Click Confirm.

  2. Go to WanSwap, then swap your Wan, Zoo, and Wasp back into wanXRP. Type in a value that is close to your Balance (Example: If you have 25 Wan, use 23 Wan). Click Swap, Confirm Swap, then a prompt will appear from WanMask. Click Confirm.

  3. Once the transaction finalizes, Open Wanchain Wallet, then go to Cross Chain → XRP → XRPL <-> Wanchain. Look for your wanXRP and click Convert. Scroll down, then click on Send Everything, then click Next, followed by Send.

  4. This process usually takes minutes but once done, Congrats, you have converted your wanXRP back into XRP! You can go to Wallet → XRP → @XRPL then click Send to withdraw your XRP back into a wallet.

Note: The Wanchain Wallet will keep 20 XRP to keep the wallet active.
