CBS NEWS’ “FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN” IS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING PUBLIC AFFAIRS SHOW IN TOTAL VIEWERS ON NOV. 6

FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN delivered 2.7 million viewers, with 522,000 in adults 25-54, ranking #1 in total viewers on Sunday, Nov. 6, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. In viewers, FACE THE NATION has ranked #1 for the last six weeks and for 34 of the last 36 weeks. FACE THE NATION was the only program to grow in the demo and in women, ranking #2 in adults 25-54 for the fourth consecutive week and reclaiming #1 in women 25-54. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION ranks #1 among total viewers for the third consecutive year.

Sunday’s broadcast featured moderator Margaret Brennan’s interviews with senior advisor to the president for public engagement and former mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms, Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH) and former head of CISA and CBS News cybersecurity expert and analyst Chris Krebs.

Brennan moderated a health and education roundtable on the issues facing “Pressured Parents,” one of CBS News’ four Eye on America election influencer groups, with former FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb, Washington Post national education writer Laura Meckler and Brown University economics professor Emily Oster.

CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford and political correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns joined the broadcast to discuss the battle over abortion rights on the state level ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections.

CBS News chief election and campaign correspondent Robert Costa, correspondent Kris Van Cleave and congressional correspondent Nikole Killion reported from Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia, respectively, where hotly contested match-ups could determine control of the Senate.
