Venerable U Aggañña, Pa-Auk meditation teacher, has been teaching of both Samatha (tranquility) and Vipassanā (insight) meditation in Myanmar and abroad since 1997. Currently, Venerable U Aggañña is residing in Taiwan and continues to conduct the meditation retreats in Samanasukhavana Meditation Center in Quoxing and Fa Jang Vihara in Tainan.
Venerable U Aggañña was born in 1953, Myanmar. In 1989, he started practicing as a lay disciple at the Pa-Auk Forest Monastery in Mawlamyine, under the direct tutelage of the Venerable Pa-Auk Sayadawgyi. In 1992, he was ordained as a monk by his teacher Pa-Auk Sayadawgyi and was appointed as his assistant teacher two years later.
尚智(阿甘雅)尊者 1953 出生，緬甸人。 畢業於仰光大學。 尊者是帕奥禪林業處導師，目前住錫台灣，繼續在帕奧靜樂禪林國姓鄉和法藏講堂台南指導止觀禪修。
1989 年，尊者開始在帕奧禪林毛淡棉跟隨帕奧禪師的親自教導。 1992在帕奧禪師座下出家，於禪師的嚴格指導下修習止觀業處,成為帕奧禪林的最資深禪師之一，精通英、緬等語言。曾修學與教禪於緬甸帕奧禪林及斯里蘭卡的龍樹林 。
尊者在澳大利亞、中國、印度尼西亞、馬來西亞、緬甸、尼泊爾、新加坡、斯里蘭卡、台灣、泰國、越南和美國弘法和指導止觀禪修超過25年.
