Whether we're running over root-laden paths, slippery mud puddles, or hard-packed rocky routes, the adaptable Cascadia 16 Running Shoe is ready to traverse the trail. This running shoe is the most stable in Brooks' trail collection, thanks to its adaptable rock shield and its compressible midsole. On uneven terrain, vertical grooves react to roots, rocks, and more with side-to-side adaptability. For even more all-terrain versatility, TrailTack rubber offers grip on both wet and dry surfaces, and integrated drainage ports let water flow out of the shoe.

Not for wide feet!
Nothing wrong with these shoes if you don't have wide feet. I ordered the D (wide) width, believing they would be the same width as Adrenalines. Sadly they turned out to be narrower than a friend's B (medium) width Cascadia! So a word of warning - if you have truly wide feet do NOT buy these even in D width.

Good outdoor shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good outdoor shoe, however tongue of shoe feels short and like it need to be pulled up.

Fabulous stability and comfort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favourite jogger due to the stability the sole creates. Even with a medium support insole they are still very comfortable. And the colours on my third pair are fabulous!

Happy trails!
These were comfortable right out of the box. They felt great on fairly rocky terrain with a lot of loose gravel. They seem to be wider than other Brookes, but it does mean my orthotics fit well.

Much more confidence on rough trails!
I spend most of my running on road surfaces and I’ve always used my Ghosts for walking on trails and thought they were okay for that purpose. Recently I decided to purchase the Cascadia 16 and was surprised at the difference. I hadn’t realized how much easier trailwalking could be. The soles grip the slippery and rough surfaces so much better and I find that I can climb up bush tracks more confidently.

Great stability, grip could be better
Used these for trail running and hiking. I love the support and stability, they’ve kept me upright and prevented me from rolling my ankles on some very rough tracks. However I have found them a little slippery on some surfaces like loose dirt on inclines

Consistent Cascadia's
This is my 3rd pair of Cascadia's and they are the most comfortable trail shoe on the market. I have tried others but keep coming back to Cascadia's.
