Types of information collection methods in dissertation
In the dissertation or thesis, information is collected based on which the conclusion is obtained at the end. Here are two forms of information collection methods:
The qualitative method is one in which the information is obtained and gathered by considering the theoretically related data. This method is helpful because it helps in the ease of understanding the information one reads. It is also less time-consuming in contrast with the quantitative method. This includes a collection of information from the sources such as books, journals, and more.
The quantitative method is one in which the information is collected by the use of numerical content and calculations. The quantitative research method is useful and more effective in contrast with the qualitative method. It is because it enables to delivery of more realistic data rather than some theoretical information that can be sound as vague.
