What hardware and OS are you using?
Cheers

My computer is Dell Inspiron 15 5510 and the system is Windows 10 family version. It is also a nearly new computer.
If I click "start" in the sojourn game library, the game is not launched (even not shown in the taskbar). The interface only shows it is launching and the "start"button goes to "stop…" and after about one minute would go back to "start". The other games in my library function quite well...Some of the players (of other games) say it is because of lacking some runtime, but I don't know which one is lacked :(
(some of the names of steam interface maybe wrong for I'm using Chinese language. Maybe Kitah would explain more clearly. Thanks for your reply.)
Can you tell me if you're running any other software? The laptop you mentioned has 8gb of RAM which should be enough but isn't a lot. Also, can you confirm that there's at least a few gigabytes of space left on your C-drive (assuming that's where you've installed Steam + The Sojourn)? Running out of storage space could create such an issue.
Furthermore, if we want to dig deeper, please ZIP the "Saved"-folder and send it to me.
1. You can find the folder by pasting this address in your file explorer (Win+E)
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\TheSojourn\Saved\SaveGames
2. You can send the ZIP in the following channel over on the Iceberg Interactive Discord:
https://discord.com/channels/326634285614497804/588382072947867667
Also, have you tried to turn off your laptop entirely and turn it on again?

Thanks for reply too.
I am not running other apps and there is 176 GB left in my C-drive.
For I've never successfully launched the game, in the SaveGames folder there is only one .vdf profile called steam_autocloud.vdf. Do I need to send the zip of it?
By the way, I have tried to launch it from the local profile exe but nothing happened...I also tried the equilibrium version and it is launched successfully! (Maybe it is because the equilibrium is not encrypted? I have even played several levels)
Turning off and turning on the laptop again has been tried but I would try it again tomorrow. So is the runtime search.
My CPU is Intel - Core i5-12600K. GPU is Asus KO-RTX3070. My operating system is Windows 11.
Thanks in advance for your help.
