(Running strollers are welcome though we do ask you to start toward the back of the race. No dogs, please.)

ABOUT US & EVENT
While the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary’s 9th annual Kettle Krush 5K run/walk is in a “different season” than Christmas, the purpose is for the “same reason.” Through this event, SAWA strives to raise awareness for The Salvation Army and “krush” poverty, homelessness, and human sex trafficking, and support veterans and youth enrichment in metro Atlanta.

WAYS TO REGISTER

Mail-in: Entries must be postmarked by May 10. If mailing check, complete registration form below and mail with check to Kettle Krush 5K, c/o PRRC, P.O. Box 81777, Atlanta, GA 30366. Make check payable to SAWA and write Kettle Krush on the bottom “for” line of check.
LATE REGISTRATION/ PACKET PICK-UP
May 18 (4-7 p.m.) and May 19 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) at Big Peach Running Co., 1062 Johnson Ferry Rd., Marietta, 30068 or race day near race start from 7-7:45 a.m. Check, cash and credit card are accepted.
RACE COURSE
Runners/walkers will enjoy the course that starts/finishes at Marietta Square and travels through quaint downtown Marietta and historic neighborhoods.
PARKING
The Marietta Square/Glover Park is located in the heart of downtown Marietta. Paid and free parking are available around the race start/finish area. See http://www.marietta.com/marietta-square-parking for more information on location and cost.
DIRECTIONS
From I-75, take exit 265 and go 1.5 miles west on Rt. 120 Loop/North Marietta Parkway. Turn left onto Church Street to historic Marietta Square.
POST-RACE FESTIVITIES
Stay after the race to celebrate your finish with fellow runners and enjoy the awards ceremony at 9 a.m. Post-race goodies and music by DJ will be provided.

Awards for first overall M/F and Masters M/F runners and top 3 runners in 16 age categories (10 & under to 80 & over).
TEAM COMPETITION/PRIZES
Special prizes to the top team with most participants (minimum of 10 participants to be eligible) in 5 categories – individual, school, business, church, and running club.
