The components of these dimensions comprehensively cover the issues and approaches that underlie successful projects aimed at regeneration, sustainability, adaptation to change and development of communities.
This course will help you gain skills to develop your projects in times of uncertainty, find new solutions and test their effectiveness.

β When and where?
The course will last four weeks without a break from 1 to 28 August 2022.
We will spend 2 weeks at Obyrok Art Island (
https://obyrok.com) and another 2 weeks at Tepla Gora Eco Centre (
https://teplagora.org).
π΄ An important requirement is the presence of every participant during all 28 days of the course.

β Language?
The main languages of the course are English and Ukrainian. The facilitators will work with an interpreter.

β How much?
The full EDE course participation will cost approximately UAH 21 000 / $650 (the exact sum is currently being discussed and will depend on receiving a grant to partially cover the expenses)
The price of the 28-day course includes training and workshops, field trips, 3 vegetarian meals daily, accommodation in a community hostel or in your own tent, transfer between the venues.

We offer a 10% discount for the members of national ecovillage networks, who paid the annual membership fee before 01.01.2022.
π΄ Transportation to and from the venue is covered by the participants themselves.

β What is the size of the group?
The maximum number of participants is 30.

β Who is organizing the course?
The course is organized by Ukrainian NGOs "Global Ecovillage Network Ukraine" (GEN Ukraine), "Obyrok", "Tepla Gora Foundation" in partnership with the Danish ecovillage network (LOES).
The course is certified under the UNESCO Global Action Program (GAP) and the international program Ecovillage Design Education (EDE), developed by the Estonian organization Gaia Education.

The course is based on the experience of the most successful ecovillages and green projects around the world.
* Even if you are not currently a representative of a particular community or organization or do not have an idea of your own project, this is not an obstacle to your participation in this course. All this can pop up in the process of training π
