Nissan Patrol 2022.

The 2022 Nissan Patrol has received a slight update in Australia following a jump in sales in 2021.

The Y62-generation Nissan Patrol has received a minor update for the 2022 model in Australia amid rising sales.

Two versions of the 2022 Patrol are available for local buyers: the Ti and Ti-L. The changes are minor, and for the Ti, the new model year brings with it a black grille, an updated Nissan brand emblem, and redesigned front fender vents.

Nissan then equipped the flagship Ti-L model with the same reimagined front fender vents and brand emblem, while retaining the chrome grille.

Both Patrols come standard with the same 5.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 gasoline engine rated at 400 hp and 560 Nm of torque.

This engine is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent 4×4 system to give the Patrol traction even in the toughest conditions.

Local prices for the Nissan Patrol Ti start at A$82,160 or from 4.3 million rubles, while the Ti-L is available from A$95,115 or 5 million rubles.

A number of optional features help justify the price difference between the two.

For example, the Patrol Ti-L is a seven-seater and includes a driver’s seat with memory function.

It also adds a refrigerator on the first-row center console, a Bose audio system with 13 speakers, two 8-inch second-row entertainment screens with headphones and remote control, a smart rearview monitor, power tailgate, roof rails, heated and cooled front seats, and an electronically adjustable tilt and telescopic steering column.

Last year was the best year in terms of Patrol sales in Australia since 2008.

September was the best month ever recorded for a Patrol, with 612 units sold.

Specifications

In all versions, the SUV will be equipped with a 5.6-liter, 406 horsepower (560 N*m of torque) atmospheric engine.

Accompanying this engine is also non-alternative automatic transmission with seven speeds.

Despite its large size, the Patrol with a rather productive engine is able to accelerate up to a «hundred» rather «swiftly,» all in 6.6 seconds.

But the fuel consumption is very big — almost 15 liters per hundred kilometers.

The base model has rear-wheel drive, but there are also models with 4WD system, a «gearbox» and a downshift.

The dimensions of the body are very large. The length is 5,306 mm, width — 2030 mm, and height — 1925 mm.

With such dimensions on the model it is difficult to maneuver, but you can still get used to this in time.

You can also operate the model in off-road conditions. The interior of the model depending on the modification can be seven or eight seats.

But in any case there is enough space for everyone in the cabin, because the distance between the front and rear axles is 3076 mm.
