The Challenge:

Dive into protocols that foster interpersonal connections and uncover community assets, setting the stage for collaborative problem-solving and innovation.

Essential Conditions:

Explore protocols that guide community engagement partners in aligning towards a shared vision for their schools and broader communities, laying the foundation for cohesive action and impactful change.

Policy and Program Goals:

Discover protocols that support the formation of shared goals and actionable steps, empowering partners to navigate complex policy landscapes and drive tangible progress towards collective aspirations.

Capacity Outcomes:

Engage with protocols designed to facilitate reflection, foster difficult conversations, overcome challenges, to ensure sustained LCAP development and learning recovery for all students.

Included within the CRG is a unique feature: scenario-based examples that provide hypothetical illustrations of how districts may utilize the guide in real-world settings. These scenarios offer practical insights and guidance, helping users apply the protocols effectively and adapt them to their specific contexts.

CAAASA Field Guides: Lifting Our Voices

The Lifting our Voices Field Guides, developed in collaboration with the California Association of African-American Superintendents & Administrators (CAAASA), serve as invaluable resources for educators and administrators seeking to enhance their Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). These guides are meticulously crafted to capture and articulate the diverse experiences, insights, and challenges faced by students, teachers, parents, and families of color within the educational landscape. With a keen focus on amplifying underrepresented voices, these guides not only shed light on existing disparities but also empower educators to implement meaningful interventions that better serve all students. These field guides provides a roadmap for creating more equitable and responsive LCAPs, ultimately leading to more equitable and enriching educational experiences for all.
