State Police posted about the shooting on Twitter around 7 p.m., saying it happened on Bosque Loop, east of the Rio Grande, in Bernalillo. "Officers and deputies are uninjured," State Police said. "Suspect is deceased." The department did not provide more information about what led up to the shooting or who was killed. Officials with the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office and the Bernalillo Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for more information. On Twitter, State Police said more details would be released when they are available. A spokesman said he did not expect to learn more about the incident Monday night.
