Joachim joined Cisco over 15 years ago in May 2008 from IBM, where he held a variety of sales and business roles.

He initially joined Cisco’s commercial mid-market team, before taking on leadership roles in a variety of areas within the company, including cloud, partners, outsourcers and transformational engagements. In 2014 he was appointed leader of Datacentre for UK& Ireland, an area of continued and high-growth for the company. Great change is happening at the executive level—which should come as no surprise given the forces at work in the world today.

Think: AI, the pace of change in cybersecurity, talent shortfalls, supply chain challenges, geopolitical stresses, climate change, and more. Yet technology executives are expected to continue to handle these well and incorporate them into their guidance and strategies, while being expected to deliver more value to the organisation with fewer resources.

How sustainable is this for executives, and where in the C-suite, from the CEO to the CIO and Chief Data Officer, should we expect the greatest changes?
