On October 28, 2021 the District 86 Academic Department presented a draft of the 2022-23 Programs of Study (POS) to the Board of Education for questions, comments, and clarifications.  A two-reading process is used each year prior to approval of the POS in order to make sure that the course offerings for the following school year are clear prior to a BOE vote.  The list below highlights the revisions and corrections made to the POS since the BOE reviewed the first-reading draft.

• General formatting revisions
• Revisions to SPED information/courses
• Revisions to D86 Science Sequence

The attached memo and corespondent presentation also highlights the D86 Curriculum Alignment Process, the new courses for the 22-23 school year, as well as the courses designed to support students struggling with reading and math.
