STUDENTS' UNION ELECTIONS 2024

Members' Meeting

What is it?

Annual meetings (or Student Members’ Meetings as they’re sometimes called), are a key part of YUSU’s calendar. All students are invited to attend.

The meetings provide an opportunity for students to review YUSU’s key activities over the past year and hear more about the work of the Union. Meetings will typically include:

  • ratifying the minutes of the previous meeting

  • a report from our Trustees on the Union's key activity

  • receiving the Union's accounts for the previous year

  • receiving Union affiliations

  • open questions to the Trustees.

This meeting will include a vote on our new articles!

Why?

As a Students’ Union, our student members have a say in the direction of our governance. This is your chance to vote on the articles that shape this new Union, including the shape of the new Sabbatical Team.

When & where?

Thursday 22 February, 6pm in SLB/118(Spring Lane Building)

How can you get involved?

Any student can come along to participate and vote.
