Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek is an esports player who retired from professional gaming in April 2018. He is a former member of “Cloud9” where his gaming career peaked as a Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player. His incredibly accurate aim in first-person shooters grabbed many eyeballs and earned him the nickname of “The Human Aimbot.” However, later he left “Cloud9” as a professional gamer and chose to become a full-time streamer and backup player in August 2017.
Finally, in August 2018, he formally announced retirement from professional gaming and has since been a full-time streamer. Shroud continues to be a popular streamer on Twitch with a large fan-following on various social media platforms. After being a Battle Royale player for Apex Legends and Warzone he feels a little saturated and plays them less often. Black Ops 4: Blackout and Modern Warfare are some of the popular games he is seen streaming on an almost regular basis.
He was born on June 2, 1994 in Toronto, Ontario in Canada but is of Polish descent. Currently, he resides in Orange County, California, USA. Shroud has won “The Game Awards Content Creator of the Year 2019” and “The Streamer Awards Gamer of the Year 2022” as a professional gamer. Shroud has a cult following of 10.million on Twitch, 1.5 million on Instagram, 1.8 million on Twitter and 6.79 million on YouTube.
