Min. Age: 8 years old

Academic Description: Archery is the oldest and coolest sport in the world. Archery has many health benefits such as improving hand-eye coordination, building patience and concentration, as well as boosting individuals’ self-esteem and confidence. Course Description: Students are taught:
• Form,
• archery,
• range set-up,
• range rules/commands,
• basic knowledge of equipment,
• importance of warming-up muscles,
• 11 steps to shooting (NTS-National Training System), and
• good sportsmanship.

Students play archery games to utilize the techniques they’ve been taught. Students earn points accumulated by the end of the semester.
