Injury Corner: Warrington without three key men, Hull lose fullback duo and Leeds star’s hamstring issue

With the last pre-season games coming to an end over the weekend, Super League teams are now preparing for their first competition fixtures.

For some, though, injuries have taken their toll and some Super League sides could be without some of their stars for the first round of games.

Leeds Rhinos overcame Hull FC with ease in Tom Briscoe’s testimonial with a 38-10 victory whilst Hull KR registered a 24-18 triumph over Huddersfield Giants.

Meanwhile, Wigan Warriors overcame Warrington Wolves on Saturday night in what was Stefan Ratchford’s testimonial and in Daryl Powell’s first game in charge of the Wire.

But, just which sides fared badly on the injury front?

Jake Connor (Hull FC) – broken hand
