Revitalize. Your. Social. Presence.😂 Honestly this is going to be the easiest most efficient way for you to not only connect with other educators BUT possible supporters and sponsors for your program. Update your headshot. Add a background photo. Describe what you do. And STAY active!

PLEASE before you even get started with this step take a moment to understand IF a podcast would even elevate your course. Starting a podcast just to HAVE one won't solve problems, it'll create more! If you're looking for more course engagement instead first look at: 1) How your students like to learn EX hands on, shot videos, humor etc. 2) Find where in the content they are struggling and why. Understand this information before just whipping up a podcast because it "may" help!

This is completely wrong, NEVER think a team is “behind you” as a leader😂 As an education leader or any other type of leader YOU are standing right next to your team everyday. The only time you are EVER looking “behind you” for people, is to ensure no one is getting left behind. Yes you’ll have diverse roles on your team, different skill levels, needs, etc. BUT you all are in it together, so start with that mind set and you’ll accomplish anything with whatever team you’re with!

You know what works JUST as well as all these surveys, pre-tests, etc??? LEARNING from your students face to face. So many teachers think they’re the experts when in reality you’re just there to guide each student through a learning experience. Focus less on the tools you “need” to use to gather the data and focus more on the content! How you’re engaging your students, what their generation is prone to when it comes to mental thought process etc!

BREATH..Seriously most people will act out of reaction before analyzing everything that's going on👇 First: How long has it been since posting? Most people get stuck in this "Golden Hour" mindset and while that's true for viral content not everything will perform well in the first hour. 2: After time has passed compare this content with your material from the past month. How consistent has everything been, is this the first post in a while? 3: Make an adjustment and try again tomorrow. Don't let it kick you down and get you out of the content flow!👏

The purpose of mentoring should NEVER be to just teach a person or pass along knowledge. You are thereto learn just as much as your prodigy or apprentice. The biggest impact you'll have is when you're opening up the conversation to both of you and letting them understand you want to LEARN just as much as you want to TEACH. Mutual respect will go a long way in the mentorship journey.
