A previously unreleased video shows a youthful Jaime Jaquez, a rookie for the Miami Heat, showing off his dunking skills. Jaime Jaquez, a rookie with the Miami Heat, looks like he was ready to compete in the NBA slam dunk competition years ago.
It seems that just week, an old video of him showing off his early dunking prowess reappeared. In the little video, Jaquez was barely older than a toddler.
Little Jaquez declares he is dunking at the beginning of the video. In response to the question of who, he says, “like Shaq.” After that, Jaquez gets up on a chair and eventually dunks the ball. The entire hoop fell as a result of the slam.

Along with star Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, defending champion Mac McClung of the Oklahoma Magic, and forward Jacob Toppin of the New York Knicks, he is competing in the AT&T Slam Dunk competition.
A portion of Jaquez’s winning strategy was revealed on “Podcast P with Paul George.” He said,
“I think I got one dunk that you guys are gonna be surprised to see,” “We got a lot of work behind the scenes being put into the creativity of all this.”
After Derrick Jones Jr. won the tournament in 2020, Jaquez, a four-year UCLA player, is the first Heat player participating in the competition.
