Note: The first of two public hearings on Salt Lake City’s annual Budget will occur during the 7 p.m. formal meeting. The second public hearing will occur at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.

The public can comment online through Zoom or in person at the City & County Building. Those who would like to speak must register.

Those attending in person will fill out a comment card at the meeting.

All comments submitted during public comment become part of the public record. All attendees must follow the Public Meeting Rules.

Parking is available at the City Library and can be validated by Council staff.

Please note: 200 East between 400 and 500 South is closed due to event setup. Please consider taking public transit or parking in the City Library parking garage, accessible from 400 and 500 South. Council staff will validate parking for meeting attendees. ADA parking is available along 500 South.

1 p.m. Redevelopment Agency Board Meeting – Room 326  

The Council also serves as the Board of Directors for Salt Lake City’s Redevelopment Agency (RDA). The board discusses City business, takes public comments, and votes on proposals.

2 p.m. Work Session – Room 326

Work Sessions are listen-in only, starting at 1 p.m. and ending at approximately 6:30 p.m.

 

7 p.m. Local Building Authority, Redevelopment Agency and Formal Meeting – Room 315

Formal meetings start at 7 p.m. and end upon the conclusion of items listed on the agenda. The Council holds public hearings and votes in formal meetings. There is also a one-hour time slot for general comments.

To share comments with the Council, register online or in person. Online registration opens 24 hours before the meeting. General comment registration closes at 7:30 p.m. You can register to speak on a public hearing item until the hearing closes.

Those attending in person will fill out a comment card at the meeting.
