We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

Dame Deborah James was diagnosed in 2016 with incurable bowel cancer and went on to host the ‘You, me and the big C podcast on BBC radio 5 live about her struggles with her illness. I have been following her for several years. Since her untimely death I really wanted to raise some money for 2 of her charity’s Bowel Babe and Bowel cancer uk. Myself and a very good friend of mine are going to walk from Clacton Pier to Walton Pier dressed as poos. Dame Deborah was renowned at dressing up to bring Bowel Cancer to the forth front so I think this is the least we can do. Now this isn’t going to be an easy ride for us. I suffer daily with a bad back and Jo my friend suffered a stroke in 2017 and suffers with seizures and chronic fatigue.  This sponsored walk is going to be a real challenge for the 2 of us but we are really up for it!!
