Earth Day Celebration
Keizer Rapids Park Cleanup

 

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper for this family friendly trash cleanup event at Keizer Rapids Park as part of the City of Keizer's Earth Day Celebration! We will be working in partnership with the City of Keizer, Oregon State Parks, Marion SWCD, Salem Audubon Society, Cherritos, Loren’s Sanitation, Mid-Valley Garbage and Recycling, Claggett Creek Watershed Council, for this land-based cleanup. While in the park you'll also have an opportunity to join in other amazing activities at the celebration!

WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, April 22nd | 9AM-10AM
Meet at Keizer Rapids Park. Check in will be located between the Keizer Rapids dogpark parking lot and the sand volleyball courts. Public restrooms are available.

DETAILS: We'll be working on land at this family friendly event. Pack along water, work gloves if you have them and sturdy close toed shoes. Trash bags, non-latex gloves and trash pickers will be provided as supplies last.

If you are a minor, or an adult attending with minors, each minor must check in at registration with the attached waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Minors will NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT THIS WAIVER. Please open the following URL in your browser to print the waiver:

ONE WAIVER PER MINOR. MUST BE SIGNED BY LEGAL GUARDIAN and brought to event in order for minors to participate!
