SBS Bank Otago Sparks, Eden Carson & Kate Ebrahim are heading to the USA!

After impressive 2021-22 seasons, Eden & Kate recently signed with Team ICA and will head to the USA to compete in the  Houston Open 2022.

Eden & Kate will join the ‘Samp Army’ for their two-day competition (April 2 - 3), where each team will play 3 x Twenty20 fixtures. They join former Otago Volt, Neil Broom, who will be representing the ‘Knight Riders’ in the 5-day men’s competition (March 30 – April 3).

Broom will find himself playing against former NZ domestic cricketers such as; Anton Devcich, Corey Anderson & Willem Ludick.

The International Cricketers Association is always active in various leagues around the world and particularly in the US. Around a dozen male stars who are associated with ICA were provided the opportunity to play in the Houston Open 2022.

Now, Kate and Eden are the first two women from New Zealand who will feature in Women’s edition of Houston Open 2022 in the USA!

All games will be broadcasted on ‘Willow TV’ YouTube channel for free.
