Spicy Shrimp Chili

Ingredients

  • 10 wonton wrappers
  • cooking oil, as needed
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2/3 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 japanese leek, finely chopped
  • 10 shrimp pieces
  • coriander leaves, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon doubanjiang (chinese spicy bean paste)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken stock (granules)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 fluid ounces water
  • 1 teaspoon potato starch

Steps

  1. Cut wonton wrappers into 1/8-teaspoon wide strips and deep fry in cooking oil.
  2. Add sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, Japanese leek, and shrimps (peeled and deveined) to a frying pan and stir fry.
