Married by Sunday

Rate this book
Opposites clash in this wild, unpredictable rom com, where two strangers team up to stop a wedding at all costs.

Nathaniel Barry is monochromatic, meticulous, and uptight. Izzy Harris is wild, unpredictable, and free-spirited. Nathaniel has a trendy apartment, a successful career, and a girlfriend he’s about to propose to. Izzy has no home, no career, and nobody special to hold her down.

They’re polar-opposites in every way.

So when they sit next to each other on the train to Romeo, New York they clash from the very start. Naturally, Nathaniel decides he wants nothing to do with Izzy. And Izzy...well, she has a different opinion.

No matter how much Nathaniel protests, Izzy knows it was fate that brought them together. Nathaniel’s girlfriend just ran off to marry another man, and Izzy swears she’ll help Nathaniel win her back. They have three days to stop the ill-advised wedding. It should be easy. It should be simple. But when two polar opposites team-up to stop a wedding, there’s only one guarantee – that nothing will go as planned.

The banter-filled, playful vibe had me hooked from the start, but my enjoyment took a nosedive somewhere along the way. It's a bright, cheerful, opposites attract romance that showcases how life doesn't always go according to plan. I loved that our sunshine heroine shows the grumpy hero that he's been missing out on the best things in life, and their unpredictable misadventures were so fun to read. They've got great chemistry from the start, and the strangers to lovers situation was a definite win. However, our hero is trying to get his girlfriend back for most of the story, so there were some uncomfortable undertones of cheating along the way. Sure, they broke up, but as Nathaniel says, "Gertrude may be mating like a rabbit with Raphael, but I still consider myself in a relationship." And he doesn't necessarily back that up with his actions. It still probably would've been a 4-star read for me if the final act had gone very, very differently.

The story follows Nathaniel, a financial guy who has his life all planned out. But when his longtime girlfriend breaks up with him just before he planned to propose, all of those carefully crafted plans go out the window. Nathaniel's girl claims she's already in love with someone else, but Nathaniel is determined to get her back - because there's no way she could've fallen for someone so quickly... right? When his seatmate on the train causes one problem after another, Nathaniel isn't sure what to think. The whirlwind of a woman is like no one he's ever met, but Izzy is happy to help him get his girl back. As the two spend time together, Izzy's lessons on love start to blur the lines between them, and Nathaniel suddenly isn't sure what he wants at all.

Josh and Gemma Make a Baby was my introduction to Ready's work, and I loved it, so I was excited to check out another one of her books. I had no trouble jumping into this series without reading the others first, it feels like a complete standalone. And things were going so well at the start! It's a short, easy, palate cleanser of a read in many ways, with low angst rom com vibes. I loved the humor. I didn't love feeling uncomfortable about some of the situations, even/especially if Izzy and Nathaniel were clearly meant to be together. I was leaning towards a 4-star rating until the final act, at which point things really started to unravel. I get what Ready was trying to accomplish, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, lol. It completely changed the tone of the whole book, and honestly extinguished the warm and fluffy vibes. Maybe if this was a little longer, I don't know, but it left me feeling underwhelmed after such a strong start. So this gave me plenty to laugh about, but wasn't a total win. I received an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review of this opposites attract romance.

This amazingly talented lady has quickly earned a spot in my hall of fame must-reads. I know whenever I pick up her latest release I’ll be held spellbound on an epic, heartfelt journey. And these characters in the love capital, Romeo, NY, are just quirky and endearing enough to captivate even the most skeptical of romantic hearts.

Izzy and Nathaniel meet on the train, both headed to Romeo, NY. He's going to win back his girlfriend – the one he planned to propose to after three years of dating, and the one who is now planning to marry another man this coming Sunday. Despite the challenges and roadblocks in simply trying to get to Romeo, Izzy offers to help Nate win back his girl once they arrive.

It seems to happen every time. I get all caught up in the hilarious shenanigans and madcap mayhem, and then, boom! Ready clobbers my heart with overwhelming emotions from characters who have already irrevocably absconded with it. And it's the most delicious emotional upheaval that always keeps me coming back for more.

I'd tell you to hold on to your heart before you start this one, but it's hopeless. Izzy will charm you with her sunny optimism and unconventional outlook, and Nate will delight you as he figures out that life doesn’t need to be planned fifty years in advance. They'll make you laugh out loud, then ruin your heart, and finally knit you back together even better than new. You'll love every second you spend with these unique, endearing characters, so run to the 1-Click and now and start reading this stunningly heartfelt, laugh-out-loud hilarious, and truly extraordinary read today!

Do you believe in soulmates?

Married by Sunday is everything I want a romantic comedy to be. Nathaniel and Izzy start with a very entertaining meet cute on a train to Romeo, the most romantic town in New York. Along with the underlying emotions, their story was hilarious throughout as they had such wonderful banter as well as a deep connection. Perhaps the humor was a little over the top at times, making the story somewhat unlikely, but that's what makes it the fun escapism it is.

Nathaniel, a workaholic with his entire future planned out for himself, and Izzy, spontaneous and a free spirit, are polar opposites but they work through their differences, becoming friends first and then lovers. Izzy takes meeting Nathaniel as a sign from the universe she asked for in order to help her face her own life issues. The premise revolves around Izzy helping Nathaniel win back the love of his life who is engaged to another man she just met. Izzy gives him lessons in love, things like creating a romantic environment, giving compliments and gifts, the language of touch and the art of dancing. Nathaniel and Izzy never plan to fall for each other, but what happens when they do?

This story offers so many life lessons, for example, avoiding disappointment resulting from expectations and changing one's life plan along with hopes and dreams for the future. It sends the message of living life to the fullest as well as completely letting go of past pain to make room for better things.

The ending has several unexpected emotional twists that add to this beautiful story, making it a joy to read. Even though this is book 5 in the series, it's the only one I've read and completely works on its own. I highly recommend it for a light and heartwarming romance.

** 4.5 stars rounded to 5 for Goodreads **

** Special thanks to author Sarah Ready for sending me this ARC to read and review. **

A romantic romp with a twist
5 stars

We make a much anticipated return to Romeo, New York with this story, the fifth in Ms Ready’s Soul Mates in Romeo series. While one or two previous characters from the series do pop up, our hero or heroine are brand new and this book stands completely alone with its own HEA. But we get plenty of shenanigans, laughs and a surprising amount of emotion in order to get there.

As soon as Nathaniel and Izzy meet there’s a massive spark - of dislike. Especially on Nate’s side. But by circumstance, and maybe fate, the pair are stuck together and forced to spend time together before finally teaming up on a mission to win back Nathaniel’s errant girlfriend. There are definite shades of the Meg Ryan movie, French Kiss, to the idea of winning back a wayward partner, the hiding from said partner and ensuing lessons in love. But it’s different enough for me to appreciate the connection but love this story all for itself.

Izzy is the sunshiney, cheeky, seemingly flighty girl that blows into Nathaniel’s world and knocks his socks off. Well, I’m pretty sure his socks are one of the only things he has left after a couple of hours together. There are hints of a reason for Izzy’s lack of money and seemingly nomadic lifestyle, but we don’t really get clued into this until the end. She’s still funny, smart and I loved her relationship and banter with Nathaniel.

If you had to imagine a polar opposite of Izzy, Nathaniel is who you would picture. He’s a straight laced, rigid, planner type who never deviates from his schedule. His exasperation with Izzy is comedy gold but I also loved the way he slowly starts to change and slowly starts to appreciate the singular brilliance of her made my heart soar.

Although Nathaniel’s girlfriend has run off with another man, Nathaniel is determined to get her back. There could be some grey areas there about whether he was free to start something with Izzy, but I was happy with the way it was written and I think the pair only kissed before Nathaniel realised what his heart really wanted. There is still some sex towards the end of the book but by that time I was already so invested in Nathaniel and Izzy that the sex was a nice bonus but not actually necessary.

As I’ve come to expect from Sarah Ready in this series, it was an absolute hoot. It was silly but still believable and there was a great blend of physical comedy, banter and just downright shenanigans. I laughed so much and had such a great time.

By the time we got towards the end and I was looking forward to everything being wrapped up in a pretty, romantic bow, I had this book pegged as easily my favourites of the year so far. And then there was a slight, well, twist, I suppose. I’m never a fan of a couple that take time apart before the happily ever after but I could have endured that… but the other stuff broke my heart just a touch. I was a sodden, weeping mess before we came to the HEA. We get one, and I was happy, but I wasn’t amused at the emotional trauma I had to go through to get there! That pushed this down to a solid 5 star read but that is all!

I’m so happy to have spent more time in Romeo, New York and that, of course, famed matchmaker Miss Erma was once again right in her predictions of love. I would have preferred a little less reality but this is still a great read and one I would highly recommend for romance and romantic comedy readers. Easily 5 stars.

Izzy is the sunshine to Nathaniel’s grumpy.
From the very beginning these opposites clash in such hilarious ways.
It’s a RomCom-opposites attract, Sunshine/Grumpy with a touch of fate.
It starts off quickly and is evenly paced throughout.
The two meet on a train and immediately the uproarious story had me smiling and laughing.
I cringed a bit for them both at times, too.
They are so different, I understood the friction and tension which of course is great for the build up of steamy chemistry.
Izzy makes an immediate impression on the very serious Nathaniel and vice versa.
I love the banter and the zany vibe of the story.
I love the wacky situations the characters get into.
I love that free spirited and eccentric Izzy takes it upon herself to help the very steady and a bit uptight Nathaniel get his girlfriend back by crashing her wedding.
It’s such a fun, classic RomCom setup because it works.
It’s a fast journey and the characters won me over in very different ways.
The emotional aspects surprised me, I love the way opposites can balance each other and bring out something new and better for each other.
It shows that you can plan and expect things to go a certain way and that can change on a dime. Those expectations aren’t always the best way in the end.
Surprises and twists along the path of life can be a wonderful thing. Be flexible, let things flow.
The characters are incredibly likable. It’s a really fun story with plenty of heart.
It’s the perfect romance to make you feel good and laugh out loud.

This started off really cute! In a way this was kind of a short and sweet story, the pace moving right along, not a lot of time spent on anything besides the story. Right off the bat I though Izzy was a little bit out there. But it was fun to see her and Nathaniel interacting and how she loosened him up along the way. This is my first book in the Soulmates in Romeo series, but I’ve been wanting to start it for a while now! After reading this one, I know that I do still want to go back and read the others, and as quick and easy of a little read it was, I know I can fit them in among other review books.

The little town was so cute, and the characters were all pretty much as expected. There was the moment when it seemed like maybe Nathaniel might get his ex back, but I like the way the author handled it. It was the perfect way. And it wasn’t necessarily that the guy who swept her off her feet had been using her. Yeah, he was Italian and suave and romantic in all the ways that Izzy said, but he was still a good guy. As to Izzy’s ex, I had a feeling it was going to be what it was, based on how she’d handled any questions or phrased her answers.

So many cute things in this, banter, accidental spills and incidents, and the romantic swoony parts too. But my favorite was probably this poem:

“Chocolates are sweet and so are you…let’s eat the whole box, yum, yum, chew.”

Izzy asks the universe for a sign and then she stumbles across Nathaniel who is sitting in her seat on the train. The next 56 hours is a whirlwind of antics, emotions and slowly falling in love. However, their timing isn't perfect and we have to wait a bit longer for that happily ever after. But Erma saw the soul mates in a dream and she's never been wrong. It's just that Erma's predictions don't come with a timeline.

I love every story that has been in the Romeo NY series and this one was probably my fave to date. I hope we see lots more stories that take place in this quaint little town. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I think Sarah Ready is becoming one of my new auto-buy authors. Married by Sunday was so sweet and fun! Full of laughs but also emotional, it’s everything I love in a romcom. Nathaniel and Izzy’s chance encounter is the meet cute we craze in romance. Their friendship builds, relationship follows, but ultimately their soulmate love. The best!

Married by Sunday is Book 5 in Sarah Ready’s Soul Mates in Romeo Romance Series but all books can be read in any order.

Rating : 4.5/5

Genre: Romance

Well.. where to start for this one.. It was a quick beautiful and absurdly romantic read..
Nathaniel has my heart ❤️ and Izzy is all carzy.. adventurous.. emotional.. strong.. women who deserves all the love..
the story starts on crazy note and yeah its fun filled.. I laughed my heart out.. Nate is all grumpy.. sexy man who has layers of emotions which are unwrapped by Izzy during their journey.. Izzy is strong and is fighting her past and in the process helping Nate get his love life sorted..
Emotions and Fate are the two major things that play a role in uniting these two beautiful souls is all I can say..
The other major part is obviously focused on Closure.. this is so important because only when you leave your past and accept your fate.. you will be able to move on.. to a better future.. to accepting the one who truly loves you and wants you..

I like how the author maintains the mystery around Izzy.. and how the story unfolds beautifully at the end.. how true love wins over and these two characters evolve and accept each other.. ❤️❤️❤️

This book has the perfect amount of spice.. mystery.. romance.. adventure which One can ask in a book 👍👍

Got this book on Booksprout as an ARC..

Married by Sunday is the fifth story in the Soul Mates in Romeo series that continue to be filled with many humorous and heartfelt moments. While some previous characters from the previous novels do pop up, this novel can easily be read as a standalone; however, I highly recommend reading all of them. Each story may feature a story of love, but how they discover this love is incredibly different from one story to the next. I love that each story fits each character as the stories would not work the same if the same situations happened for the other potential couples. They would still be interesting, but it would not have the same impact. In this story, Aunt Erma, the soul mate diviner, gets to reveal the soul mate for her friend’s grandson, Nathaniel.

Izzy is broke, is headed to see her ex-fiancé, and looking for a sign, so she is surprised when she finds it on the train to Albany on part one of her journey to Romeo in the form of Nathaniel who is sitting in her seat on the train. Nathaniel is having his own issues as his girlfriend of three years, Gertrude, suddenly broke up with him and has become engaged to a man named Raphael. Not only did the two get together suddenly but are planning to wed in a few days on Sunday in Romeo, NY. Nathaniel is determined to win Gertrude back and is now on his own journey to Romeo. Izzy and Nathaniel do not start off on the right foot and it’s further exacerbated by the fact that these two are complete opposites. While Izzy is the upbeat go with the flow type person, Nathaniel is more rigid and likes everything going to plan.

While the reader is very familiar with Nathaniel’s life throughout most of the story, Izzy remains more of a mystery. There are pieces of her past and character throughout, but it is not fully explored until further into the story. Izzy and Nathaniel spend a few days together as Izzy agrees to help Nathaniel win back Gertrude. The two enjoy some fun antics as Izzy tries to get Nathaniel to open up more and learn about romance. The lessons themselves were fun as they are small things, like environment, that ring true for all romances and made me want to take a nice boat ride with my partner. They share great chemistry from their first interaction, even if they weren’t on the same page, and I loved the two of them slowly getting to know the other over the course of the story. Izzy has a great love of food that I could completely relate to and I loved how it was incorporated into their story.

The ending itself is emotional as everything is revealed about each character before a potential happily ever after can occur. Usually, I am not fully on-board with event occurring the way they did (you’ll have to read it as I don’t want to spoil it), but the novel read so well that it just worked in the end. Since I have read all five novels in the series, it is very difficult choosing a favorite as each is unique and enjoyable. This one had more outgoing fun compared to a few of the others, but each novel was hard to put down and I would easily re-read all of them. While I still recommend all the novels in the series, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them as a standalone. I hope there are more stories to come in this series as I enjoy everything the town of love has to offer! [4.5 rounded to 5]

**I give a special thank you to Book Sprout and the author for the opportunity to read this entertaining novel. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.**

I will read anything that Sarah Ready writes and it's guaranteed that I'll love it. *full review to come!

We’re headed back to Romeo, New York in MARRIED BY SUNDAY, the newest book in Sarah Ready’s Soul Mates in Romeo series. Y’all. I don’t know how she does it, but each book gets better and better. I thought I couldn’t love a Soul Mates book more than I loved the last one, but that was before I met Nate and Izzy. And let me tell you, they have found their way into my heart and have earned their stay. I just adored their story of acceptance, grief, patience, and of course, love.

Nate and Izzy meet on the train on the way to Romeo…and that’s about all they have in common. Nate is in finance and is as buttoned up as you can imagine. Izzy is a free spirit who has been traveling the world for the past year. They couldn’t be more different, but they end up traveling together, getting into hijinks along the way. Nate’s girlfriend decides to leave him and marry someone else in a span of two days, and he’s determined to stop her. Izzy volunteers herself to help Nate win her back, but can she keep her growing feelings for him at bay?

When Sarah Ready releases a new book, I just want to make everyone I know read it and have them fall in love with her stories like I have. They’re funny, swoony, and sexy, and have no problem with pulling on your heartstrings. (I cry every time, without fail). Izzy’s Romance 101 lessons for Nate are nothing short of an epic collection of Things I Wish Would Happen To Me. The sweet way they begin to see each other in a new light had me wishing they had more than just two days together. When we finally learn about Izzy’s past, I dare you not to cry your eyes out like I did. Nate and Izzy’s story is messy and unconventional and all over the place, but it’s perfect. That’s what happens when you find your soul mate, after all…

I love anything and everything Sarah Ready writes and MARRIED BY SUNDAY is no exception. Be sure to pick it up—it’s out now! Thank you to the author and Social Butterfly PR for the advanced copy that I devoured in a matter of hours. All long and rambling opinions on how much I loved this story are my own. I hope you all fall in love with Nate and Izzy like I have!

I love this series more and more with every new book Sarah Ready writes. While each book in the Soul Mates in Romeo series can be read as a standalone, Ready drops just enough references to previous books that readers really get maximum enjoyment by reading the whole series.

As usual, Miss Erma's matchmaking is at it again. This time, Nathaniel is told that his soulmate is in Romeo for the weekend and proper shenanigans ensue and he tries to woo the person he assumes Miss Erma is talking about. Of course, if you've read other books in the series, you know that Erma's predictions are not as clear cut and straight forward as our main characters tend to believe. I will say, I thought it was pretty obvious from the very beginning who Nathaniel's soul mate was, but the important thing really is the journey the main characters go on to get there and that journey was pretty special.

I loved watching Izzy and Nate get to slowly know each other over the course of Married by Sunday. Every little thing that Izzy did to help Nate woo his soulmate was beautiful and sweet, and more often than not, full of heat and tension. While a slow burn, I think it's clear pretty early on that there's a spark leading somewhere between them. Izzy and Nathaniel are the best kind of opposites attract.

I will say, this is the first time a Sarah Ready novel has made me cry. The ending was very much an emotional, cathartic release for Izzy, one I didn't see coming, and it ended up being an emotional release for me as a reader. Izzy's story might just be my favorite out of all the main characters in this series, and I expect it will be hard for Ready to top how I feel about Izzy in future Soul Mates in Romeo books.

A sweet, opposites attract slow burn, Married by Sunday is an excellent addition to the series that readers both new and familiar with the series won't want to miss.

Steam Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (very descriptive sex scenes)
Trigger Warning: death of a loved one

Izzy is broke, unemployed, and headed to see her ex-fiance. Nathaniel is wealthy, on the verge of promotion, and headed to stop a wedding. When these two opposites meet on the train to Romeo, NY, it's certainly not love at first sight. But when a robbery leaves them stranded at the train station, Izzy is convinced that it was fate. That's why she decides to give her uptight, grumpy companion romance lessons to win back his soulmate when they finally arrive at their destination. Little do they know, that fate has other plans for them.

Oh. My. Word. Sarah Ready has done it again! I adored Josh and Gemma Make a Baby, but this book? *chef's kiss* At just over 200 pages, this book is small but mighty. The same could be said about Izzy. She was such a fun, feisty, and flirty character. And when she and Nathaniel were together, the chemistry was off the charts. There was so much sexual tension between these two as they worked on Izzy's romance lessons, and their more lighthearted moments put a big, goofy grin on my face. But the best part of the book was the ending. I thought I knew what was coming, and then I got hit with such an unexpected plot twist. I got major Colleen Hoover vibes when I was finishing this book and had tears in my eyes by the time I reached the epilogue. I can't stop thinking about it. This is book 5 in Sarah's Soulmates in Romeo series, but it is a complete standalone. That being said, I will absolutely be going back to read books 1-4 ASAP.

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC of this book!

Hilarious opposites attract romance! This giggle-worthy story is adorableness wrapped up in a snuggly warm blanket kind of book. It's lighthearted, sweet, full of laughter and chemistry, it's the perfect romantic comedy to lift your soul.

Sarah Ready did it again. She made the perfect opposites attract fall in love in the most hilarious way. Nathaniel and Izzy are polar opposites. He's Mr. Wallstreet and she's scraping by with twenty-cents left in her pocket. She's traveling the world without an address tied to her name and he's planning his future down to the minute. So you see where they would have nothing in common, except....when Izzy decides to help Nate - he really doesn't like to be called Nate BTW - without his asking for help. It's adorable and hilarious and so darn cute his insistence in trying to walk away from her brand of help, but in the end who can say no to Izzy? No one. No one can say no. Thus begins their adventure.

Nate is on his way to stop his girlfriend, that's right his girlfriend, from marrying another man. It's tangled and this is why Izzy decides to help. Nate obviously needs it. They set off on a roadtrip to Romeo, the capitol of love, with some harrowing side adventures and lessons in love, so Nathaniel can win back his girlfriend.

The whole time there is building chemistry between Nate and Izzy, but the entire goal in the end is for Nathaniel to win back his girlfriend before she marries another by Sunday, so this is a slow building romance, but it's sweet and endearing and contains so much more than just the end goal that this might just be my favorite in the Soul Mate series.

This is my first Sarah Ready book and I am a fan! What a wonderfully fun and fantastic adventure! This opposites attract story will have you laughing out loud in the first several pages.

Izzy and Nathaniel bump into each other on a critical day for each of them. What’s starts out as a bad first impression ( that will have you laughing) turns into a really beautiful friendship.

Izzy is a quirky, independent, feisty and crafty woman. She is positive on the outside but there is some serious stuff going on inside…but she never wants to be a burden for anyone.

Nathaniel is your typical business man who is only
focused on himself and making it to the next level. He’s a bit cold and stiff but Izzy works her magic and helps him see the man he’s supposed to be.

This is the perfect book that will have you laughing, swoony and cheering for these two to find their HEA. This is such a fun and unique story and the ending will have you fighting back tears - so beautifully written and the characters stole my heart.

Congratulations on a wonderful book, Sarah.

I received a complimentary copy and I am leaving my honest review.

Thank you to the lovely Sarah Ready for sending me a gifted copy of this novel before it's official release on 03/22/2022 (mark your calendars or pre-order it already will ya?!).

This is the sweetest romance novel ever, with a perfect amount of spice thrown in...just a dash. I mean, that time in the park...shew! Honestly, this novel didn't even need to be that spicy to be good. It was cute, funny, sweet and with a little suspense for good measure. There was so much great, passionate banter between the characters. Married by Sunday had me laughing and swooning at the same time. WHAT THE WHAT?!

I adored all of the characters, even Gertrude and Raphael. Devon/Nathaniel/Nate and Izzy/Isabella are too cute, I just can't even. Oh and that cover?!?! I mean, you can't get more adorable than that.

This is the 2nd book by Sarah Ready that I've read (the 1st was Josh & Gemma Make a Baby) and I can definitely say I'm a fan. What a great palette cleanser after all of my dark/twisty reads. I highly recommend this...in fact before I finished it I already ordered another book in this series so stay tuned for that review too. Count me in for the rest of the Soul Mates in Romeo Romance Series....I can't wait to see it continue to grow but for now...I have 4 more books to read.

There’s so many great things about this book that I don’t know where to start. It’s an “opposites attract” rom-com but also so much more. I loved that from page 1 we jump right in with the two main characters, Izzy and Nathaniel, meeting on a train and all the antics that ensue. I like that there wasn’t a lot of setup to start -we found out more info organically as the characters learned things about each other - and some things not til the very end!

Their weekend in the town of Romeo, where Izzy attempts to teach Nate how to win his girlfriend back is both hilarious and heart-warming. I didn’t expect to cry (twice!) but I love when a book that’s mostly light hearted, fun and funny can take a turn and pull at your heartstrings.

I can’t recommend this book enough!
And once you’ve read it join the Sarah Ready newsletter to get the bonus epilogue which you can NOT miss because it was so cute!!

They start as strangers on a train with one thing after another happening. But once they get to Romeo things really change.

Nathaniel wants to get his girlfriend soon to be fiance soon back when she takes off to Romeo but what he doesn't count on is the whirl wind that is lIzzy to come into his life. But one thing leads to another and he lets go of one only to fall for this whirl wind.

Lizzy is in a dark place and ask for a sign but wht she gets is well you call him uptight and structured in routine when she sits next to Nathaniel on the train. But a few events later when in Romeo letting go of the hurt does she fall in love with the man.

Your going to want to read this one yourself to see how they find love in the little town of Romeo and how erma and her romantic predictions and vision comes through again. I hope there's more to come from this series because its a swoon worthy one for sure

Meet-Cute, Extreme Opposites Attract, Hilarious Road Trip, Steamy Rom-Com with Heart and Soul

This may be my favorite Sarah Ready book since it has it all - and it takes us back to Romeo and the matchmaking Miss Erma. Although Nate and Izzy are seemingly meant for others their chemistry is off the chart which adds to the fun. The situations they encounter trying to get to Romeo are hilarious and as uptight as Nate is, I loved that Izzy was able to get him to just roll with the craziness and her "romance lessons". Without revealing too much I will say that ultimately she learned as much from Nate as he did from her which made them work as a couple in the end. Although I laughed AND cried I truly enjoyed this book.

I received and ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Romeo, New York the city of Love. I want to meet Erma and have her tell me I'm with my soul mate. With each book I think Sarah Ready can't top the last story and each time I'm wrong. Izzy and Nathaniel's story was beautiful, life affirming, tragic, romantic, hilarious, silly, messy, angry, soul searching, patient, romantic and real. I loved every second and read it in a matter of hours!
Nathaniel never imagined when he got on the train to rescue his relationship with Gertrude his entire life would change.
Izzy spent her last bit of change buying her train ticket to Romeo to say goodbye to the man she thought was the love of her life David. Little did she know that a train ride would finally put her life back on track.

This book was a such an enjoyable read from start to finish; like it really hit the feels but the storyline was written so well you enjoyed every minute of it....no matter if you're laughing or felt sad. Ready really made us run through the hoops while reading her book, what can I say that I could feel for Izzy, MFC, she went through so much but she had the strength to believe in herself, it really made you love her. Then there's Nate, MMC, he's this yummy piece of cake who if nothing else is like the most devoted guy you could ever meet and, yes, he works hard but you fall for him too. I could talk for days about this story but I won't and I'll leave it at this is a must read for rom-coms!

Married by Sunday was a fun and charming read!

Nate and Izzy don't get off to the best start when they meet on the train. He is trying to get to his very recently ex ex-girlfriend and everything goes off the rails - no pun intended - once Izzy enters the picture.

This is a fairly quick read, but it doesn't lack in chemistry, banter, humor, or romance. I loved the connection Nate and Izzy formed as they helped and challenged each other. They have so many crazy moments together and just as many sweet and swoony ones.

It was also fun to return to the small town of Romeo and the soulmate visions/predictions. I have thoroughly enjoyed the series and can't wait to see who is next!

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

What can I say about this sweet book that I couldn’t put down? First, I came across Sarah Ready when I read Josh and Gemma Make a Baby. I was instantly sucked in and loved it. This one did NOT disappoint! This rom com was sweet and hilarious and I honestly could not stop reading it. This is book 5 of the Soul mates in Romeo series but these are all stand alone books. This is the first one I’ve read of the series and I will definitely be reading the rest. I’m already a fan a of Ready’s work and I can honestly say I can’t wait to read more. If you like hilarious sweet with just the right amount of spice, you HAVE to check out Married by Sunday.

Nate and Izzy create the perfect combo that make us want these two complete opposites to come together. Sarah's ability to fuse laughter with heartbreak is clear and evident in all her books. The sparks are always there (and extremely appreciated) but there is also a beautifully layered story. This couple is another example of not fully knowing what you want or what you need but finally realizing what ultimately matters most. If anything it really helps you understand the true meaning to finding your soulmate. This one will definitely make an impact.
I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Absolutely romantic, absolutely sweet!

I'm completely in love with this series. Just when you think it couldn't get any better, Sarah proves you wrong. I absolutely loved Izzy and Nate's story. Right from the start, the way they met, intrigued me immediately and never let go until the very end. And don't even get me started on that. My heart broke when that happens, that scene towards the end. I literally cried because I couldn't take it. But I absolutely understand why Izzy really took her time and was ready to be with Nate. That doesn't mean I have to like that part of the story though. But the moment they reunite again, I fell in love over and over again with these two. It just proves that when you're meant to be, then you're meant to be.

An amazing story about two people who are total opposite . She is sweet and free spirit and he is not . They meet inside the train and it was fate . She made him furious with her actions but he wanted to protect her . He was going to Romeo New York to find his girlfriend who dump him and decide to marry another man after knowing him for twelve hours . She is going to help him get the girlfriend back . While she is teaching him how to charm they fall for each other . Who will he choose ? . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is so fun and it is a great rom com with lots of good scenes. Nathaniel has been dumped (imagine that!) and his world has collapsed and he is trying to win his ex-girlfriend back by ruining her marriage. Izzy is at the bottom of her life and she needs a chance quickly. These two sould meet at a train going to Romeo and they managed to find out more in common then they believe.
The book is great, fun and I just loved it!!!

Thank you Social Butterfly PR and Sarah Ready for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Rating: 4.5 stars rounded up to 5

This book, oh my gosh. It was everything I love about romantic comedy!!! The story of Izzy & Nate were so adorable, I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the end.

Izzy was such a hoot as a character, everytime I read about her antics, I couldn’t help but giggle. I loved her outlook on life, and that despite all that she was grappling with, she still went out of her way to help Nate. Honestly reading about her felt like I was cuddled up in my softest blanket holding a warm mug of cocoa.

Nate really found my soft spot, because he was a grumpy grizzly bear on the outside, but a soft cuddly teddy on the inside. I can never resist characters like that, especially when they are so worried and concerned over their LI but don’t wanna act like they care.

The story has got opposites attract, grumpyxsunshine, insta-love and fake dating, so if you’re a fan of these tropes, you definitely don’t want to miss this book! A quick, fun, light-hearted yet poignant novel on finding your true soulmate.
