My little feather angel wings are always a popular accessory at a newborn session as, of course, they are all angels. It’s not that often that I get a little smile to go with them though so that was an added bonus.
Over the years, I have accumulated quite a wide range of props and accessories that I can add into photo shoots. Props are the larger items such as my miniature tents, vintage suitcase, various bowls and things along those lines. You can select one of those to add into your session when you receive your options form the day before your visit to the studio. I count accessories as all of the soft items that I have such as headbands, hats, outfits and angel wings and they are always on hand at a photo shoot so we can just pop them into a session while we’re working so we don’t miss a single opportunity.
Newborn Photography
A newborn photo shoot is best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old as this is when they are at their maximum sleepiness and poseability to capture those dreamy shots. For this reason, I definitely recommend that you book when you are pregnant as this is one less thing to worry about scheduling when you’ve just got home from the hospital. We make an appointment for your due date plus 7 days and then adjust it as needed.
My newborn shoots include your three favourite digital images which you select from your online gallery a few weeks after your photo shoot – I don’t make you attend a sales or viewing session. Sessions take place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down and cost £95.
