Sunday, May 15: Squishing Spotted Lanternfly: How to Stop an Invading Bug
*** PART OF LAKE FRIENDLY LIVING AWARENESS MONTH ***

The Finger Lakes are under attack from a...bug? Join us at Heron Hill Winery in Canandaigua to learn about one of the biggest invasive species threats seen in decades - the spotted lanternfly (SLF). This insect poses a crisis because it threatens to eat all of our grapes, apples, and hops vines! You'll have the opportunity to learn directly from an invasive species expert on what SLF is, why it's a threat, and how you can help the Finger Lakes by stopping this bug.

After the event, attendees over the age of 21 are invited to stay for a wine tasting, compliments of Heron Hill Winery.
