Easy to read and worth the time for those interested in organizational life cycles. Though not in the depth as some others, such as Adizes, this particular book provides some perspective on the difference that being a nonprofit produces.

For those working in nonprofit organizations that are experiencing capacity problems, this book should be of help.

This was the "Bible" for our grantees at the Dodge foundation. Once you understand life cycles, you stop worrying about the inevitable problems and challenges social profit organizations face and become a diagnostician and problem solver.
