This position is located in the U.S. Agency for Global Media UUSAGM), Voice of America (VOA), Programming Directorate, Studio & Production Operations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Supervises and directs professional civilian (GS-12 and below) and foreign personnel. Ensures all personnel perform administrative duties in support of financial management.
-Performs, supervises and manages a variety of finance/budget operations, tasks and activities including staff support, administrative communications and workgroup management.
-Provides direction and guidance to subordinates engaged in the review, design, development, modification, implementation and the day-to-day sustainment of a myriad of finance/budget execution and administrative related efforts, to include opening and closing bureaus.
-Tracks overseas leases and responsible for obtaining requests and clearing those requests through the Office of Security, the General Counsel and the Office of Contracts.
-Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities and schedules completion. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities and selective considerations of the difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees and facilitates individual skills development.
-As a supervisor, motivates team members and enhances their performance by providing informal feedback and formal performance evaluations.
