About this ebook

A year worth of flirting comes down to this kiss...

Abel

I've eaten more tacos the past year than I have my entire life. It's not because I love those little handfuls of goodness (although I do). It's because of the woman who runs the local food truck Let's Taco Bout It. Seeing her makes my day, and while I can't admit my feelings, I can at least see her smile.

Until Halloween. When a man gives her attention she doesn't want, she pretends we're together, and lays a kiss on me that I'll never forget.

Kara

I've spent the last year watching the hottie in the constantly torn and dirty jeans eating shyly walking up to my food truck and ordering the same thing each time. I've done my best to drag him out of his shell, but nothing works until a night of unwanted attention forces me to make a move.

Now? He's hanging around even more, and when his husky voice calls me his girlfriend? I melt into a puddle, and he's the only one who can pick me up and put me back together again.

One of my favorite things about Laramie Briscoe's books is how relatable her characters are. They're down to earth people with regular everyday jobs and regular everyday problems. It also doesn't hurt that, as a fellow Kentucky girl, I totally get the small towns and rural areas in so many of her books. That's the case with Abel, book 2 in the Broken Falls series. It's full of down-to-earth characters - the kind of characters that I find super easy to root for.

Sometimes flirting leads to more. For the last year, Abel has been getting tacos from the Lets Taco Bout It food truck...while the tacos are good, he's there for Kara, the woman who runs it. When Kara gets some unwanted attention, she takes matters into her own hands...kisses Abel and claims him as hers and he's going to make sure it stays that way. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Abel and Kara’s story. Kara runs a local tacos food truck, and everyday Abel arrives to buy the same things, and no matter how she tries to get him to chat, she has no luck. When Kara earns herself some unwanted attention, she grabs Abel and kisses him. This is a well written easy to read story which has family, friendships, emotions, friends / lovers, engaging and realistic characters, humor, witty banter, romance, and love, which l
