JULY 2023 NEWSLETTER

Dear friends and partners,

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him." 1 John 5:14

Earlier this month we were so blessed to have our Go and Tell Prayer Team come together to pray and prophesy breakthrough into upcoming missions. It is so vital that everything we do is underpinned by prayer and we are forever thankful for the time that these guys take seeking the Lord and interceding for us. At times we have literally felt their prayers changing the very atmosphere. It has certainly been a few months where we have seen the Lord moving mightily from miracles and breakthrough in peoples circumstances as well as physical and inner healing. We are especially excited to finally confirm our return visit to Mexico for 2 weeks in November where we will be building on the work done last year.

MADRID & SEVILLE - MAY

In May we visited Casa de Naciones churches in Madrid accompanied by Jenny Carroll and Joseph Warner. We love serving this awesome church headed up by Eli & Sherling Sanchez, building on work done last June when we first visited. We were delighted to hear the testimony of one lady we had been praying for last time we were here for her children to be able join her from Nicaragua. She was so excited to not only introduce us to her 3 fantastic children but also to hear testimony of how our miracle working God had also opened doors for her son to be educated in a local private school – paid for by the school principle – as well as her getting a better paid job and accommodation. Many tears flowed as we all praised God for his abundant nature, taking care of every need, Hallelujah.

The next day we were out on the streets with the church. We were absolutely blown away by the zeal of the young people as they have been doing outreach in the streets and public squares weekly. We got the opportunity to share the Gospel with a group of drug dealing young men. There was a particular young man who was touched and totally zoned in to what he was hearing, having the courage to respond to Jesus as his fellow dealers watched.

This time we also had the privilege to travel over to Seville and minister to the church plant there, with the whole team having the opportunity to share what the Holy Spirit was saying. The church was so encouraged and strengthened as we prayed and ministered over several meetings, with the leaders testifying afterwards that…

“All we can say is thank you God. Because we have seen your power and glory in our house, we have seen how you have manifested yourself bringing miracles to people who did not expect it, you have poured out physical healing, spiritual healing, inner healing, baptism of your Holy Spirit and many more feats, that only You in your immense love have I could do.

It has been a glory-filled weekend, in which as a church and family, we have been renewed and we feel joyful, to be part of that revival that is awakening in Sevilla. Thank you Lord!"

Amen to that! God is so good.

PRUDHOE, NORTH EAST - JUNE

In June we had the great privilege to minister at ‘The Gate Church’ in Prudhoe. This is the first of several planned visits to the North East area over the next 12 months. We did some evangelism training sessions in the morning and then out onto the village streets in the afternoon. Even though it was only for a short time, 2 people responded to the Gospel and accepted Jesus. Folks were encouraged as everyone managed to talk or pray with someone, giving confidence to share about Jesus.

Over the course of the weekend meetings as well as seeing 10 people respond to the gospel, we saw the Lord healing people in the meetings.

One lady Linda came in heavy in her stick, she was racked with pain and couldn’t balance and as a result would fall over. As she received prayer all the pain went, she could balance and was walking without her stick! Her grown up daughter instantly burst out with tears of joy at the sight of her long suffering mum standing free!!! Only Jesus

A huge thank you to Pastors Bert and Margaret and the church for there fantastic warm welcome as well as the team we took with us Gill Berry and Walter Mahon and the greatest thanks to Jesus.

BIDDULPH - JUNE

Last week I was in Biddulph as part of the Mission24 team. It was a good time of daytime streetwork and evening meetings with the Lord opening up some divine appointments as we shared Jesus on the streets.

In particular there was a couple of young men whom myself and Justin Slade spoke too, one of them had the following words tattooed on his arm…“I just want my heart to burn!” As we shared the gospel with them it was as if they were captivated. They had told us they were in a rush, with a driving lesson about to start but they were rooted to the spot, arrested by the love of Jesus. Praise God both of them responded to the love Jesus poured out on the cross.

We passed one man Brian who was out gardening and had his walking stick on the floor next to him. At first he was quite closed until we got to pray for his knees and the pain them left him, he then accepted Jesus!

Also passing a local sandwich shop, I felt the Holy Spirit give a nudge to go in. We went in and I recognised I had been in there a couple of weeks prior in a dream! We then had the joy of leading all 3 or the staff to Jesus and to pray for the staff!!

In July we will be holding 2 Evangelism Training Evening Sessions at Impact Community Church, Oldham. All are welcome to come and join us, getting practically equipped and encouraged to share the Gospel. SUPPORT US - MEXICO!!!

We are especially praying and seeking God for his miraculous provision for our upcoming mission to Mexico in November. This will be a huge cost to the ministry, far beyond what we currently have in the bank, so we are standing in faith that God will provide everything we need, with the knowledge that as we “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, all these things will be added unto us”

Matt 6:33

We are also looking to visit the Valientes Children’s School again and hope to take out some more resources again. Last year we took 5 laptops / I Pads and some classroom resources. If you have any laptops to donate please contact us.

PRAISE & PRAYER POINTS

Praise God for an Open Door in the North of the UK with strategic kingdom relationships being built, stepping out in the vision of #fireinthenorth

Praise God for our return to Spain to see the inputting of 'outreach' from the young people.

Praise God for the mission to Mexico being confirmed and extended to 2 weeks for an impact in the city and the outlaying villages.

Please pray for the upcoming missions / training in the UK. That God will continue to confirm the preaching of the word with signs and wonders.

Please pray for finances for the Mexico Mission - this is a huge undertaking of the cost of crusades, flights, accommodation etc.
